Digicel Play, Dominica’s number one Cable and Broadband Company in collaboration with Whitchurch IGA Supercentre during the month of December afforded two finalists in its Christmas promotion the opportunity to win groceries. Ann John Whyte of Goodwill and Joseph Vincent of Pointe Michel each dashed through the aisles of Whitchurch in Digicel Play’s Supermarket Christmas Sweep to win up to $5,000 worth of groceries each.
On Sunday 21st December, 2014 from 11:30am Digicel executed its’ highly anticipated Supermarket Sweep. During this hard economic time Digicel Play and Whitchurch IGA Supercentre eased the financial burden for the two lucky customers. The supermarket was filled with excitement. Marsha Augustine sang Christmas carols, adding to the spirit of the season, while the two grand winners swept the supermarket to grab as many grocery items as possible. Ann John Whyte walked away with$1,185.20 in groceries, while Joseph Vincent got to fill 3 trolleys of groceries worth $1, 898.55.
The lucky winners were randomly chosen from the list of qualifiers to run through the supermarket. Each finalist, along with one partner, got three minutes. The lucky winners and spectators alike were thrilled and enthusiastic about the entire Digicel Play SupermarketSweep experience!
