BUSINESS BYTE: Nadia Anselmn is big winner in Digicel’s Christmas promotion

Nadia Anslem is the Grand Prize winner of $10,000 cash plus a Supermarket Sweep in Digicel’s ’60,000 Reasons to Smile this Christmas’ promotion.

This Christmas will definitely be one of the most memorable Christmases for Nadia Anslem of Grandbay. From a selection of random qualifying numbers, Mrs. Anslem was contacted by Digicel’s Marketing Executive Ms. Calvia Timothy to participate in the first round of the draw which took place on Friday 21st December at the Digicentre Store with five other semi-finalists. On entering the Digicentre Store in Roseau Mrs. Anslem was glowing with smiles and confident that she would be the winner of the grand prize.

On Sunday 23rd December Nadia Anselm was joined by two other lucky Finalists, Joseph Abraham of Roseau and Earlsan Carbon of Petite Soufriere at Whitchurch IGA Supercentre in Roseau. It was at this point Nadia dipped the lucky grand prize ticket in Digicel’s golden bag with a winning prize of EC$10,000 cash plus a Supermarket Sweep of up to EC$10,000.

After three minutes time to each winner ragging through the allies of the Supermarket at Whitchurch IGA in Roseau and Portsmouth, Nadia Anslem filled three trolleys totaling EC$4,216.96, Joseph Abraham  got EC$3,787.04 and Earlsan Carbon, who was very careful in his selections, ended up with two baskets totaling $1,405.58.
Each winner had the opportunity to grab up to $10,000 worth of groceries. They were all overjoyed and pleased with their grocery items won.
