Jeffery Baptiste
LIME is preparing to wrap up what its General Manager Jeffery Baptiste says is a “challenging” but “successful” year for the company.
“People are spending less,” Baptiste told journalists on Monday as the company launched its newest ‘Christmas Remix’ promotion.
He said also that one couldn’t ignore the movement of competition in the telecommunications market, which has undoubtedly not been immune to the global financial recession.
“We are still at a safe place amidst the competition and challenges. Our customers are recognizing that LIME is a local company. They recognize the value,” Baptiste said.
For 2011 the general manager shows optimism. He said LIME will continue to build on the investments made this year and aspires to do as much as the economics and public support will permit.
“As we look towards 2011 we see continued commitment,” Baptiste said, citing Carnival 2011 as one of the first activities to see major improvements from LIME.
“We are standing in a good place. We continue to lay the market,” he said.

Sir i am sorry but the last time i checked LIME was a part of a huge multinational coporati. We all know that a name change does not change a history of reaping off caribbean people. NO hard feelings.
