I sometimes read all your comments and I think you need psychiatric help or something. I mean, some of your comments are funny but some don’t make sense! Then again, such is life! Keep DNO lively; at least you’re not like the other people that just come here to say shit about a this and a that. :)

There are those who cry-down their own country as Dominica and who state that Dominica has not progressed. How wrong they are. In many ways Dominica has progressed as also noticed by Dominican visitors.
Dominica has progressed to the point that business owners are offering cash incentives to the lucky customer. Granted it is encouragement to patronize their stores. Nevertheless, it is good for their business. They are to be commended for this. In so doing, some fortunate person wins a certain amount of money. I do hope those who do spend it wisely.

In reply to “Oh Yes” comment, I am surprised that DON allowed your comment. What you stated, “the winner looks like a crackhead” is not nice of you. What type of mind do you have to make such a statement? You are another one who do not put on your thinking cap and think beyond and further.

      1. He won $250.00
      2. Obviously he is surprised and jubilant that he won the money and such an amount which he did not expect to win.
      3. He had to smile for the camera. The person who took the picture probably told him to smile and to keep his eyes open. This is to be expected.

You are so negative! On the other hand, you are jealous and wished that you could be in his position. Right? How would you have appeared on camera if it were you who won the money?
Consider his situation. He may have been in need of money. Be happy for him.

Whenever my picture is taken, I ensure that my eyes are wide open. I have taken pictures with my eyes closed, unknowingly. There are times the person who is taking the picture may take the picture too quickly and not informing me that he/she is about to take the picture. If I happen to beat my eyes during the process, there goes, the result which would be that my eyes may be closed. I am fully aware of that and so I ensure that this does not happen.
In future “Oh Yes”, please consider this prior to making such a derogatory statement about one of your brothers in Jesus Christ, a Dominican.
God bless and grace you with enlightenment.

Those who are Christians and practicing ones at that “should guard what their state” and on this Website. Be fair, just and gracious in every respect, God’s expectation of us. As St. Paul said: “Whatever you say (and say), do it with love.”
