ANSA McAL makes presentation to manufacturers to enhance product quality

dmaThe Dominica Manufacturers Association will host representatives the ANSA McAL Group of Companies, of Trinidad and Tobago, who will make a presentation to local manufacturers on the possibilities of enhancing the quality and packaging of Dominican products.

The activity will take place at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday 30th November, 2016, in the conference room of the National Development Foundation, prior to meeting the Minister of Commerce and Small Business Development, Honorable Roslyn Paul, scheduled for 10:00 a.m the same day.

The ANSA McAL Group of Companies is a Caribbean company headquartered in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago that has been doing business since 1881. ANSA McAL is listed on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE: AMCL) and it is one of the largest conglomerates in the Caribbean.

Through the years, the ANSA McAL Group has grown considerably with an asset base of TT$ 13.1 Billion, revenues of TT$ 6.1 Billion and profit
before tax above TT$ 1 Billion as of December 31, 2015.

The Group’s business operations span 8 sectors throughout the Caribbean including Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Guyana, Grenada and the United States of America.

In partnering with the ANSA McAl Group of Companies, the Dominica Manufacturers Association hopes to expose its membership to the wider Caribbean market and to build linkages with successful companies who may serve as mentors to the manufacturing sector in Dominica.

The Dominica Manufacturers Association’s objective is to represent the interest of Dominica’s manufacturers by creating opportunities for the enhancement, sales and marketing of local products and at the same time encouraging high quality, cost effective and consistent supplies of these products.

The Dominica Manufacturers Association recognizes the important role of the manufacturing sector in economic development and is committed to creating the conditions to improve the profitability of its members who have invested in such an important sector.

The event is open to all manufacturers who are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity.
