Bill Gates to build nuclear reactors in China?

Gates

Since the 11 March disaster at Japan’s Fukushima Daichi nuclear power complex, when an earthquake measuring 9.0 on the Richter scale was followed by a tsunami that destroyed the facility, the nuclear industry worldwide has been fighting back, arguing that new, improved reactor designs mean that nuclear power is still a valid option.

Surging economic incipient superpowers India and China remain committed to generating electricity with the atom as one of their best options to provide power to their populations’ surging demand.

And now Bill Gates is getting into the act in China, promoting a newer and reportedly safer reactor design, telling an audience at China’s Ministry of Science and Technology about a project supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

    Can You Imagine that??

It is time we in Dominica wake up and smell the Coffee around us. If someone were to tell me ten years ago that Bill Gates would be making significant investment in China I would tell that individual he/she gone Loco.

While we are crying about the Chinese the Richest American and Microsoft Leader is pushing his company’s new nuclear design in China.

It seems to me that our Prime Minister is way ahead of his time with his vision and forsight and some of us just cant see that.

Wikileak please do not vilify me

Here is a Guy that the Dominica Govt. should really try to woo…Beg him to invest in our Country….

With the right approach,I am quite sure he would listen…heck you can even offer him free Citizenship…give him a free Passport….

That, friends, would be very “innovative”….He would be a tremendous help to our economy, our People(especially the young ones) and Country….Are we really serious about development and growth?.

That guy has lots of brilliant and innovative ideas, he is generous, and has tons of money…..
    Is anyone listening?…

But then again, what do I know…I only want what is best for my Country and People.

    All the best to all….

    UPTOWN REBEL!!!.

I support you on that. However if and when our PM does, this man would be vilified on Q95 in the same way Donald Trump was.

You remember the approaches to the DON made by the PM and ambassador Vince?

Got to say, amidst all the cry of deception, corruption, grand theft, and so on spewing from Q95, Dominica is no doubt experiencing quite a bit of good press or “firsts.” We agree with you, Jude Nicholas, one never hears anything celebratory from the detractors. We’d have no problem if as one of its firsts, the government of Dominica broaches considerations about investing in Dominica with a real billionaire. The Donald is mired in debt, believe me.

just imagine how much we could benefit from such a great foundation rather than wooing all these known terrorist countries and being use in the plot against the USA. we are the ones going to get burnt in the future if we keep doing this because on an international level we have nothing really to offer the rest of the world
