There is no reason that you can’t experience it right now!! We have had outstanding dive operations for 20 years run by local and dedicated Dominicans. Our dive shops have already put us on the map as an island with the regions best diving and best dive shops. We do not need anyone to teach us that. Of course with their HUGE resources they will bring in many new divers that will benefit the island in general. In the meantime pick a local dive shop who has been part of the economy for 20 years and go diving.

I never hear anyone congratulating the local dive operators who have been promoting, working and hosting divers for the past 20++ years. Pioneer Derek Perryman who worked tirelessly, who also was founding member of the DWA. The dive sector is a significant niche sector and has drawn much attention to Dominica…it is the people in the industry who have promoted from the early days and got the NDC /DDA on board re the importance of promoting Dominica as a dive destination back in the days of Steve Johnson, Sharon Pascal and others. To read this and worse still the comments………..unbelievable. I guess once its foreign its better. SMH!!!!
