The money services department of Archipelago Trading Ltd, CambioMan, has added a new service to its portfolio – Cheque Cashing. The service commenced on Monday 15th September 2014.
Cheque Cashing is simply changing a cheque for a fee.
According to Marketing officer at Archipelago Trading Ltd, Ms Christine John, “The addition of cheque cashing to our list of services will undoubtedly benefit our current customers while it seeks to attract prospective customers. We provide a hassle free environment for individuals to conduct financial transactions at ease and we will continue to meet the needs of our customers.”
CambioMan services include: MoneyGram send and receive transactions, The CambioManforeign exchange, Bill Express payments (LIME &Digicel) and now Cheque Cashing.
Also, coinciding with the new service, customers got the opportunity to sample one of Archipelago’s new drinks, Grace Tropical Rhythms in the 10oz can.
If you want to cash your check go in the banks, these institutions are not banks
Real Possie, this is not a new business, it is a new service which is being offered by an already existing business.
Cambio Man has been around for years now.
Why should one go to CambioMan to change a cheque for a fee when it is done at the bank at no charge. Please cambioman stop milking the public.
I would love to see the poster a bit larger so i cud actually read all those terms and conditions…. i wonder how much it costs to cash d chqs though
How can you all open a business like this? it is said the country is on the brink of collapse, no ones working, how are they going to get cheque’s to cash? you how easy to dispel these people and their claims. No one will open a place like this in a bad economy.
Lol… ur comment is laughable….
they are not opening a new business.. read (slowlyyyyyyy) and understand… “CambioMan, has ADDED a new service to its portfolio”… alu just too quick to cry… sackwetoneh man
AND BY THE WAY.. despite the economy some of us still have to change our cheques at the end of the month and bank always fool…
sorry FULL***… I so wanted to call you a fool I misspelt… lol
@ SLLJ same difference, a lot of people don’t like that term new or expanding is just the same no one expand in a bad company a matter of fact you start looking at ways to down size not expand.
Especially in a bad economy a service like this will flourish, just like fast-cash and pawnbrokers. It is very useful for people, who have a poor credit rating with the banks, don’t have an bank account at all, have their earnings garnished or have overdrawn accounts for instance. It helps to provide cash flow for those who need it most. Always at a cost of course. Yhese service providers take a fee, a percentage of the total check value (say 3%) and take the risk in return.
Real Possie…..You have it all wrong. SMH
It is obvious they are launching this new product to capture more revenues and to make it more convenient for the folks who are already there to collect Moneygram, pay bills and have a cheque to change to cash it.
The clients would rather pay a small fee rather than go to the banking institution to stand in another line again to cash a cheque.
TIME IS MONEY!!!!!!
how this service differs from cashing cheques in banks? what is the value proposition to the clients?
