Cable & Wireless (CWC) Business Solutions has teamed up with global business solutions providers, Avaya, Juniper and BlackBerry, to retrofit offices across Dominica with new state-of-the art telephone systems.

The Solution known as ‘MyOffice’ will replace the growing number of ageing telephone systems while catering to the growing technology needs of small, medium and large businesses.

Speaking at the ‘MyOffice’ Business Solutions seminar on Thursday at the Fort Young Hotel, Director of CPE and Hospitality Solutions at CWC Business Solutions, Craig Schnoor, said the new unified communications technology goes well beyond the plain business telephone system.

He said the Solution will revolutionize the way business gets done; allowing for faster, more efficient and seamless business communication designed to improve productivity and cut costs.

“We are taking the strength of two very powerful vendors – Avaya and Juniper – along with the strength of our experience, then extending both to modernize the way all business in Dominica gets done,” explained Schnoor.

CWC Group brands, LIME Business and Columbus Business Solutions will offer locally-trained support teams to install and optimize the new Solution, while making it scalable to grow with the needs of businesses.

The seminar comes on the heels of the finalization of CWC/Columbus merger on March 31.

Last night’s event was attended by a large cross section of the local business community.

Three companies, Fine Foods Inc., Wilcher Services and Napa Auto parts were the lucky winners of prizes to include discounts on services and a Tablet.
