LIME Dominica continues to focus on the youth market and recognizes the contribution the youth currently makes and will make towards the development of the Dominican economy.

Over three years ago LIME signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dominica State College and as LIME strengthens this relationship with the DSC, the company is ensuring that the students and the youth market in general is properly served through the availability of affordable telecommunications services and tools.

A delegation from LIME executive team took time off from their daily tasks to visit with the students of the Dominica State College last week to allow them the opportunity to speak about telecommunications and to better state their needs to the LIME team.

“We at LIME recognize that these students will be the future leaders in various facets of our society and therefore listening to them and answering to their telecommunications needs is very important to us” said LIME’s General Manager.

Mr. Baptiste who was part of the delegation which visited the DSC campus added that the interaction with the young people also provided greater insight into their knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications industry and the role it plays in shaping the lives of our young people

As part of the visit several students got the opportunity to win prizes and one student walked away with a Samsung S3 compliments LIME Dominica. The presentation to the lucky winner was made by the LIME General Manager.
