Roseau, Dominica – April 22nd, 2013 – LIME on Friday launched the new BlackBerry® Z10 smartphone powered by BlackBerry® 10, and announced that three lucky customers from across the region will be jetting off to see Alicia Keys’ SET THE WORLD ON FIRE concert in Prague, Czech Republic.
LIME debuted the BlackBerry Z10 at the official launch hosted at the LIME Retail Store in Roseau attended by corporate customers and other guests on Friday April 19th, and announced that the new smartphone would be available from LIME across the region from April 23rd, 2013.
At the event, LIME explained that the BlackBerry Z10 running on LIME’s advanced EDGE network makes for a smarter experience for customers.
“As the region’s value leader our customers expect us to offer devices and packages that let them work and play at a cost they can afford. The BlackBerry Z10 on our data network will allow us to do just that. LIME customers will get the best of both worlds – a smartphone that goes further and a network provider that understands their needs. Our customers know it is the smarter choice,” said LIME’s General Manager Jeffrey Baptiste.
Everything goes further with the BB Z10 – a smarter camera with Time Shift; a smarter keyboard with intuitive writing capabilities; a smarter way to stay connected and productive as life happens with Flow and Peek in the BlackBerry Hub. And at LIME we optimize these features delivering a ‘smarter’ data experience; a smarter phone overall.
Customers who purchase the new BlackBerry Z10 from LIME will have the opportunity to win one of three trips for two to see Alicia Keys’ SET THE WORLD ON FIRE concert in Prague on June 12, 2013.
“We are always looking for ways to delight our customers with unmatched experiences. With the BlackBerry Z10 from LIME, our customers again have the best value in the region. And we are excited to go further with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Alicia Keys live in Prague,” added Head of Marketing, Giesel Francis-Allen.
At Friday’s launch event, Miss Dominica Leslassa Armour-Shillingford was presented with a Blackberry Z10 by LIME’s General Manager, Jeffrey Baptiste, putting her among the first to own one of the revolutionized BB devices. DBS’ General Manager Brian Meade is also the happy owner of a FREE BBZ10 after winning one in a quiz at the launch event.
The new BlackBerry Z10 is the first BlackBerry smartphone to launch with the re-designed, re-engineered and re-invented BlackBerry 10 platform, giving customers a powerful and unique new mobile computing experience.

What Lime fail to do was inform the people of Dominica and the rest of the region all the bad reviews this so called smart phone received in North America especially in America. so much so the starting price of $200.00 was reduce to $50.00 after the sales for the phone were so bad.
i live in the states and hiving a BB in my hand clearly says im from the islands…6 and 7 yr old have samsung galaxy going to school muchless…
that phone is crap. One is unable to install whatsapp. stupes
hahahaha .. 3/4 of the ppl in the pics .. either working lime or are big shots .. like emily and dem .. hahahaha .. who wanna see a phone for 3 grand ..600us for the phone online lol .. and lime sellin it 3 grand … lol .. and we all know not 600 us dey gettin it for .. muccchhhhh cheaper .. lemme tell all u neh .. is better everybody order their damn phone and let lime and digicel smell their dirt.. but dem again it have some real stupid ppl in dominica that will actually go and buy dem man shit just to say they have money to waste .. dumb .. go buy a laptop instead with that 3 grand or do a course online .
and u know what gona happen when yal order online?customs gona kill alu
Don’t want to be bias however i walked into the mobile department and i must say it look dragged. Some of the staff appears to be so unproffessional moreless a female staff in particular. The way she left her position and walked across to another staff member being so loud in the process. I was really taken back and thought to myself if these people were properly trained. Even if there are no customers at hand to attend to she must not make it seems like its a time to socialize and go from staff to staff engaging in conversation. I must say that ive never seen that level of unprofessionalism behaviour from any of the lime staff in general. Customer service is very important and you don’t have to be behind a desk attending to someone for one to monitor your behaviour. This just shows that a customer could have walked in and then she would be rushing across to assist this person.
lol @ Blackberry – ok…this phone is, although advanced for a BB, is behind when it comes to the other phones on the market. Personally, am an Android fanatic, so i’ll stick with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2, running on Jellybean…and when the Note 3 is released towards the end of the year, i’ll replace my Note 2 (which is only 6 months old) with it and give away the Note 2
other islands done have 4g and we still in this slow crap?
I hope people not going to Red clinic to pay for these phones.
why waste ur money n buy blackberry z10 wen it cant even compete with the other smartphones … plus LIME bragging bout z10 n their internet not worth a cent …smh
All the talk but no price…give me a break lime…
Talk of the Iphone5 or the Samsung Galaxy4,them much better than the BB Z10.The BB Z10 is waste of money.
It’s not a waste of money. The iPhone n Samsung are just better phones. Look the iPhone taking its leaks now.
But they shouldn’t sell it at 2000. That would be ridiculous
lol another product that will continue to support Dumbinicans’ living above their means habbit. Fast Cash and Big Edge here they come!!
lemmi guess 5grand for it psssssh i will stay connect to my people with my nokia flash light
@ real u still rocking that ner???big up to u
I hope it have alot of tourist in port because thats alot of boom for our young ones for Z10. so sad
lmbo
The economy must be doing well in DA when people can afford to spend $2300 on a phone?
I sitll don’t get how Dominicans still get so excited over stupid Blackberry. Let’s face it, Samsung and Apple has been leaders in innovation and make phones that actually “wow” the world. Blackberry is struggling and let’s face it – waste of time.
“LIME explained that the BlackBerry Z10 running on LIME’s advanced EDGE network makes for a smarter experience for customers”…..What LIME taking us for, advanced EDGE network? a phone tht deserves atleast a 3G Network to be fully functional. Bring 3G/4G to Dominica if allu want to give dominician customers a Smarter Experience and stop talk crap. Advanced EDGE network.
tell that again with their “Advanced Edge Network” so ridiculous. after is to see them beating their chest about it.
They think we backwards.
so much said about the phone but what is the price wat kind of promotion is that
they wanna bribe u .. pay couple grand for our phone and u might win a trip .. lol .. i bet that is a regional thing ..3 out of 1000000
The BB Z10 is nothing to brag about…i have seen it and not impressed for an upgrade..waste of time;
When monkey cannot get grape, it says grape is sour.
When monkey gets grape and realizes it is sour, it tells the other monkeys that the grape is sweet…
i rather android over BB 1000000000 times…
how much is it? 4,000,000? loan buy fast cash? -_-
EC$2350.00 at most!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or boom
Plenty young ppl going and make boom for that!
