Dominica’s premier telecommunications provider is raising the profile of its Corporate Social Responsibility mandate with the launch of the LIME Lends a Helping Hand Project.
LIME today announced this new initiative which will see several worthy institutions on the island benefit from the company’s sale of products & services at its various locations. A financial contribution from new product sign-ups, new service sign-ups, and activations will be made to qualified and deserving institutions in Dominica over quarterly periods.
LIME’s General Manager Jeffrey Baptiste says this is a new and different approach, which he anticipates the consumers will see value in embracing. “LIME has consistently supported the people and communities of Dominica, and we are again raising the bar in finding creative ways to support an already solid foundation laid, in giving back through our Corporate Social Responsibility mandate” noted Mr. Baptiste.
Mr. Baptiste is urging consumers to consider the institutions that care for the elderly, the homeless, or the less fortunate among us, when making a decision on their telecommunication needs. “It is clear that LIME is concerned about transforming the lives of our people and the wider community is critical in achieving this objective” said the LIME GM.
New sign-ups for the most reliable internet service, data activations on the fastest 4G network on island, and purchase of postpaid and prepaid services are among the products and services which will contribute to the funds to be donated.
LIME has identified CHANCES (Children’s Home for the Abused, Neglected, Cheated & Emotionally Scarred) as the first recipients of the LIME Lends A Helping Hand initiative.
Acting General Manager of CHANCES Justina Mills today thanked LIME for selecting CHANCES as the first recipient of this initiative and encouraged the public to support the company’s efforts in giving back to the community.
I think that LIME customers would appreciate lower rates over community contributions that are write offs.
lime keeps saying fastest 4G network on island , why doesn’t Lime post the actual speed and compare it with Digicel, so we can all see if those statements are true
