Canada said it is looking forward to working with the new Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretary General, Irwin LaRocque as it continues negotiating a free trade agreement with the regional integration grouping.
“I would like to congratulate Irwin LaRocque on being elected secretary-general of CARICOM,” said Diane Ablonczy, the Minister of State of Foreign Affairs in a statement issued here on Tuesday.
“I look forward to the opportunity to work with him in a spirit of partnership and cooperation. This is a significant step forward for CARICOM as it moves toward greater regional integration.
As a Canadian that has travel to the Caribbean I believe that immigration should not be as strict as they are now. Lets just keep criminals and terrorist and allow hard working people to come to our country.

Please Mr.Larocque we do not need visa restrictions. There are too little of us remaining in Dominica for that level of control.
I like Canada…they have done many good things for the human resource development of Dominca and the Caribbean.
How did this comment deserve two dislike? UWP has really done bad things to some people in DA
And more dislikes will follow.
I love Canada
