Caribbeanjobsonline.com goes mobile

jobsJob seeker in the Caribbean now have a new online site where they can access information on, and apply for jobs available, using cell phones and other mobile devices.

The site, m.caribbeanjobsonline.com, has been launched by Caribbeanjobsonline.com, the Caribbean’s leading career network, to cater to jobseekers on the move by increasing the speed of the recruitment process for both candidates and clients.

Marketing Manager, Antoinette Letang, explained that persons seeking information on caribbeanjobsonline.com from any mobile device will be automatically directed to the mobile site, where they can view, search and apply for any jobs available in the Caribbean from any location.

“They will also be able to register to receive job alerts and provided they have previously uploaded a CV to the website, they will also be able to apply for jobs from their mobile device,” she said. “In addition to the new mobile site, the main website for Caribbeanjobsonline.com has also been redesigned to include new features that enhance the service for recruiters and job seekers by providing a refreshed online service for companies looking to attract hard-to-find, skilled candidates across a broad range of industries including banking, retail, customer service, healthcare and hospitalit

Companies and recruitment agencies can now creatively display their job advertisements using a range of new formats on the website, including the ability to run highly targeted campaigns for persons with qualifications needed. The new online tools also allow such persons to shortlist jobs and create multiple targeted job alerts, amongst other activities.

Letang said that another exciting innovation for CaribbeanJobsOnline.com was a strategic alliance with Talent Plus, Inc., the premier global human resources consulting firm, which works with organisations to recruit and select top talent with exponential returns on investment.

“This is a major move for Caribbeanjobsonline.com as its gives additional leverage to our clients who utilise our services by offering them a broader network to choose from. This will definitely place our service at the top of the game,” Letang explained.

“We believe that everyone has the talent to do something very well. Our position and industry specific online assessments and person to person interviews allow us to tap into that potential and unveil it to candidates and their managers,” Larry Sternberg, President of Talent Plus noted, “Having access to these tools allows individuals to have the opportunity to work in a job they enjoy each day.”

The Caribbean is the way to go for those who also reside in the West Indies. The so-called progressive countries do not offer as many jobs as they did in previous years. There are also too many lay-offs.
Job seeking in the Caribbean sounds like an excellent idea. OECS has opened a wide avenue for every job seeker in the Caribbean.
Youths, ensure that you graduate so as to obtain employment. My advice to you is, study diligently. This means, take your studies seriously and concentrate on a future career of your choice. Those times fly. Therefore, make the most of this golden opportunity while you can and while young.
