DNO Poll Result: Close call for LIAT investment

Final result of the pollThe vote’s been a close one, with 48 per cent – that’s 370 of those who participated in DNO’s latest poll giving the thumbs down to Dominica investing in financially troubled regional airline LIAT.

However 46 per cent – 354 – support the decision by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit to pump $8-million into LIAT.

Six per cent of those who voted – 53  – said they were not sure.

This particular poll attracted a total of 777 votes.

Critics have been suggesting that the money could have been spent in other ways.

      you all don’t even know what I commenting about but you liking and disliking….SMH… Admin knows well what my comment means….we communicated by email about this poll and some discrepancy I noticed..

    until and unless a alternative airline is found, Dominica needs LIAT and the Government justified in trying to prop it up. :?:
