Dominicans have begun paying a little less at the pumps for fuel.
Effective Monday, June 20, the price of gasoline was reduced by one percent or 16 cents per gallon below the previous price of $15.44 cents.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Trade, the price for diesel also dropped by four percent or 58 cents while kerosene decreased by 3.2 percent or 43 cents.
The new reduced wholesale and retail prices for petroleum products are as follows: gasoline wholesale price is $14.75 per gallon and 15.28 retail, diesel wholesale price is $13.48 and retail $13.96 per gallon and the whole sale price for kerosene is $12.70 and retail $13.01 per gallon.
