Dominicans must now ask, how many of these trips have come to Dominica in order to load bananas since the Skeritt led administration killed the banana industry , when we compare the amount of trips those boats made during the reign of the UWP government.

    The boats are beautiful.
There should be a rousing welcome and celebration for its 100th trip to and from Dominica.
Good luck to Geest Line, Klipper Stream for future, safe travels.

If Geet is moving bananas and other produce to Europe farmers should get moving organize their farms form cooperatives.
Since we recognize agriculture is the survival of our island. And, the government should run a program so that the banks can give loans to interested farmers, regardless of their political affiliation.
Let Dominica be back again into growing and shipping top class agricultural products.
I AM CALLING ON THE BANKS HELP THE FARMERS, GIVE THEM LOANS AND SEND FIELD OFFICERS TO SHOW THEM HOW TO ORGANIZE THEIR BOOKS. AGRICULTURE IS BUSINESS.

That is good news but a bit late, isn’t it, given that the ship left the U.K. on 11 August for her historic crossing and would have arrived here on 19 August. Today is 24 August and I’m sure she left already. Anyway, thanks for the service and keep on sailing…..and bring some decent bacon!

They arrived today – Tuesday 25th. They sail to other islands first. But yes, it’s a bit late..
