ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, July 26, 2011 –LIAT wishes to advise that its employees at the Maurice Bishop International Airport (MBIA) in Grenada have taken industrial action in the form of a “Go Slow”.
As a result of the industrial action the following flights to/from Grenada have been cancelled for today – Tuesday, July 26, 2011.

An update will be given later in respect to the other flights to/from Grenada scheduled for today.
Customers who are booked to travel today and may wish to rebook for a later date will be allowed to do so without charge.
LIAT’s management is seeking to work with the Technical and Allied Workers Union which represent the workers, employees and the Grenada Government to bring a speedy resolution to this matter.
LIAT sincerely apologises to affected passengers for any inconvenience caused as a result of the action by its Grenada employees.

why those grenadians always do this close to carnival. Last year when i went to Grenada it was the same story. I left Dominica on Friday morning and got to Grenada Saturday night with no bags.
