A 20-year-old teacher of the St. Martin Secondary School has emerged the grand prize winner of the LIME Christmas Pon de Remix promotion.
The Massacre resident was filled with emotions ranging from absolute shock to joy and later overwhelmed with tears after being surprised by the LIME team at school with news that she had won the grand prize valued at over $37,000.
The grand prize includes a Lifestyle remix valued at US$12,000 (EC$32,500) towards the winners rent or mortgage, FREE internet, landline and mobile services from LIME for one year, US$1,000 towards groceries and a cool new high-end LIME mobile phone.
Dhanelle Cuffy of Revierre Cyrique is the second prize winner of a vacation for four with airfare and accommodation valued at US$4,000 ($EC12, 800). The 26-year-old Convent High School teacher also received the shock of her life when Val Cuffy named her as the lucky winner of the second prize during the school’s morning assembly last week.

The LIME team later travelled to the northern village of Cottage to inform bus driver Robert Yankey that he was now the proud owner of a two 42 inch plasma TV’s surround sound system and DVD player. The 26-year-old was initially shocked to learn he was the third prize winner, but as he saw the prizes, his shock immediately changed to sheer gratitude and joy.
General Manager of LIME, Jeffrey Baptiste, who was also on hand to break the news to the three winners, confirmed LIME’s commitment to delivering on promises made to customers through the company’s various promotions.
“We promised three grand prizes to our customers to include a lifestyle remix, a vacation for four and an entertainment pack, and that’s exactly what our winners will receive,” Mr. Baptiste said.
All three winners are proud to be LIME customers and have committed to continue using the company’s services, and at the same time encouraging others to do the same.
Customers qualified for the draw by purchasing topup credit of $20 or more, texting ‘Merry’ to a short code and by purchasing any handset from LIME.
