WINAIR offers special fare for Jazz ‘n Creole

Jazz and Creole music enthusiasts from St. Maarten, Guadeloupe and rest of with Caribbean within the WINAIR network can now take advantage of airfare specials for Dominica’s Jazz ‘n Creole 2014.

WINAIR has partnered with Discover Dominica Authority as the carrier of choice for this year’s star-studded production which runs from Sunday June 1st, 2014 through the main stage production on Sunday June 8th.

WINAIR has introduced special Jazz ‘n Creole fares between St. Maarten (SXM) and Dominica (DOM) as low as US$252.00 between Guadeloupe (PTP) and Dominica as low as US$216.00. Prices are round trip and include taxes and booking fees. WINAIR flies to Dominica on four days weekly – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Discover Dominica Authority welcomes this partnership as we endeavour to expand the scope of the festival across the region.

Dominica’s Jazz ‘n Creole 2014 main stage event on Sunday June 8th at Fort Shirley in the Cabrits National Park is headlined by Grammy winning singer/songwriter Angelique Kidjo and will feature Grammy winning producer/composer/pianist Marlow Rosado y La Riqueña and world renowned jazz saxophonist Jacques Schwarz-Bart Voodoo Trio.

Dominican-born soul singer Heston Francis, as well as locally based jazz acts the 8th Note Jazz Band and Breve will also take the stage.

    In addition to the World Creole Festival a Jazz festival is exactly what Dominica needed from an artistic point of view.
