Karl B. Rodney, the chief executive officer of the Carib News Foundation and publisher of Carib News, is facing up to five years in prison and a US$250,000 fine for making a false statement to the United States House of Representatives.
According to the US Department of Justice, Rodney’s charges have resulted from his failing to truthfully account for a trip to the Caribbean that he provided for disgraced Democratic member of Congress Charles Rangel, among others.

When you lie down with dogs, you pick up fleas. No prison time for Rangel, but Rodney catching it. The big dog knows how to escape the fleas, the little man left holding the bag. Our people should know better than to mess with those dirty politicians.
