Chinese-funded restoration project major milestone in resilience journey says Austrie

Reginald Austrie is Deputy Prime Minister

Deputy Prime Minister, Reginald Austrie, has said that the completion of the US$3 million Chinese-funded restoration project for Dominica, marks a major milestone in the journey in building a more resilient country.

His remarks were made at a signing ceremony held at the Dominica State College (DSC) recently.

“This official handing over ceremony for the restoration of priority buildings in Dominica following the passage of Maria really marks a major milestone in the journey in building a more resilient country,” he said.

Austrie continued, “I will say to you this is not the end, but this is just another step as we continue to rebuild and reconstruct, but I always say it’s a brand new Dominica which calls for all hands, all hearts and all minds to make the continuation of this journey productive…”

He thanked the People’s Republic of China for continuing to assist Dominica during difficult times.

Meantime, China’s Ambassador to Dominica, His Excellency Lu Kun, said in times of difficulty, the Chinese Government and the people stood closely with Dominica.

“We are happy that the project is now completed and achieved great success, benefiting about 500 homes across the country,” he stated.

Lu Kun added, “Six buildings at the Princess Margaret Hospital, 5 medical centers, two schools and 6 buildings at the Dominica State College.”

The restoration project, while funded by the Chinese, was executed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Austrie says: “………but I always say it’s a brand new Dominica which calls for all hands, all hearts and all minds to make the continuation of this journey productive…..” Austrie must be drinking Brandy to talk about a Brand New Domininca.—-whose hands, all hearts and minds are you referring to Austrie. You are in the company of the worse government in Domininca, with a very inept failed and careless Skerrit as Prime Minister. How on earth this failed Skerrit ever became Prime Minister? Ohhhh, we recall as the decent honest politican from the South was harassed fell sick and passed on and everyone ran to the young immature, childish behaviour Skerrit to occupy the post, a post that he should have never taken or elected to. What a calamity, what a waste of our time. So Clownish Austrie, get rid of this “brand new Domininca”, you have been dreaming of now for years. Where is the brand new Domininca, show us, if not you are a political clown inside of a comical Labour…

Austrie really wanted to say: “I will say to you that is the end, but this is just another step as we continue to destroy and deconstruct our Dominica, but I always say it’s a brand new corrupt system in Dominica which calls for all hands, all hearts and all minds to halt the continuation of this corrupt, Bobol Labour government with 18 years failed journey and un productive, with high increase in poverty, unemployment, massive corruption, a failed and immature inept Prime Minister…and a waste of time and state resources of 18 useless ministers. So Austrie, please do not attempt to talk BS anymore, you will disgrace yourself…

Dominica will soon have to assume its new name: China Town.

Only in Dominica can the words China and resilience be used synonymously. It is one thing for the Labour idiots to keep making a fool of themselves but must they embarrass Dominica?

One of them once said “If not the sale of Passport then what”? Now I guess it is fair to say IF NOT CHINA then who? This is further proof that Skerrit, Reggie and the DLP administration sold Dominica to China but they cannot tell us so because they didn’t get an invoice or receipt from China because Chinese NEVER give a receipt because their weak transactions cannot be returned,

Dominica is a fail state, when our people are having parties for the opening of a poorly built / engineered one way bridge and Honourary degrees in 2018 it’s SAD . Is this the same island that i use to know in the 80’s up to 2000?

I think the deputy PM needs to watch the footing of the floods in Portsmouth and the long overdue bridge that collapse. After tell him delete resilience from the DLP admin. word list.

Soon Dominica will be declared a colony of the Chinese empire. Good luck to all you.
As far as you are concerned Austrie, don’t be in any doubt that we will get you, the same way we will get Skerrit. You guys will end up in prison for crimes committed against your country!

Austrie, I feel sorry for foolish people like you, and the idiots dressed in red, believing this nonsense that you and Roosevelt and your little mouse turn coat Isaac can build something which never existed! You all keep using the term resilient, and resilience!

Nevertheless, whereas you try to impress the more illiterate that you building resilient country; you have yet to inform the uninformed like me what is the scientific technology you and Roosevelt and puppet Isaac are implementing in the process of building the first and only resilient country on planet earth!

If you contend that three million US dollars is plenty of money, that only proves you deserve to go back into your old profession to do your watchman job! Boy, three (US$3,000,000.00)million United States dollars is only EC$81,000,000.00.

I wonder how large a project you talking about. I wonder if you will once again jump up and down on whatever it is on completion, and declare it resilient as you did on the…

Dominica has virtually become a Chinese dependency. The Chinese government now has unprecedented access and influence to and over the country. The government is an invalid, so sick and beggarly, that it is incapable of doing anything for itself. Australian houses, Chinese roads, bridges, houses, etc. are popping everywhere in Dominica. Skerrit and his political henchmen have turned a once wonderland, envy of the Caribbean, into a beggar’s paradise.

PS. Can we permanently ban the word ‘resilient ‘ and replace it with durable, strong or sturdy? It is being sickeningly overused.

He been a dunce all of his life!

I wrote about some encounters I had with that guy years ago DNO did not print it: I am telling you with people him running Dominica, there is no wonder the country is not moving forward economical.

Only they the ignorant labor party clown knows how to run country. All they know how to do is sell passports; in almost twenty years, the clowns are unable to attract a single foreign investor into the country.

It is all about talk, talking nonsense, as soon as they open their mouth something about resilient pops out, as if that is money and food for the poor, they are so ignorant one of them name Hyacinth in their so called ministry of education, say resiliency start with children at an early age, when they are babies!

In that case I is telling people to mold their into incurables to become harden criminals, unable to bend or brake!
