CIBC First Caribbean takes Flag Day to another level

Balloon 1CIBC FirstCaribbean has taken this year’s Flag Day to another level with a very creative flag designed out of balloons.  The flag was created by a group of Dominican entrepreneurs called DA BALLOON ARTISTES headed by Sharline Elizee.

Senior Manager at the bank Mr. Marie Therese Winston-Charles said the bank always participates in the independence celebrations but wanted to stand out this year as in other years but with a difference and so contracted the group to do something out of the ordinary for them.

In past years the bank has had had displays of waterfalls, garden scenes and displays of times past. Mrs. Winston-Charles said that she is very satisfied with this years result.  The group also created two balloon male and female figurines representing the national wear and an arch with the colors of the flag.  Mrs. Winston- Charles said that the bank has received very good reviews for the effort.

DA BALLOON ARTISTE is a two man venture specializing in designing various caricatures with balloons. The other member of the business is Verna Seaman.  The group is relatively new but has done work for some of the big businesses on the island.  Mrs. Winston-Charles said that she had seen their work and was impressed, so commissioned them to make CIBC FirstCaribbean stand out this Independence season.  She adds that they have done a tremendous job since CIBC FirstCaribbean is the place to visit for Independence 2014.

Nicely done, a small contribution for next year.. wondering if the red balloons on the outer ring were blown up a bit more it would probably create space for 10 as appose to 12 and get a better spatial representation of the stars.
