Roseau, Dominica (October 25, 2017) — Officials of Compass Bank visited acting Prime Minister Dr. John Collin McIntyre on Wednesdayand presented US$50,000.00 to the Government of Dominica towards recovery efforts post Hurricane Maria.
Representing Compass Bank were Mr. Alfredo Portelez, owner; Garlina Requena-Franco, President. Also in attendance was Dominican attorney Lennox Lawrence.
The last time a check was given in Malaysia on our behalf it is “alleged” the treasury never saw it…..hmmmmmmmm! Now we see another mister accepting a check again? Jesus help us with all these shenanigans going on. By December 31st no one will be able to give account of that check. Well, on the other hand it might be cashed and used to pay for storage space owed by “a certain minister” who was hiding a truck load of rashan on his property

Compass Bank…..…please, please please monitor this clown corrupt Labour government with your tax payers money. We know them well as we have been asking for accountability in our money and those that come from overseas. Please ensure transparent, monitoring and accountability tools and systems in place. We have a list of on-going accountability issues for this so called government to report on. The Bin Bobol. The Fertilizer Bobol, the CBI money. Therefore, we, parliament and the people only got to know of this devious act onky when the Right Hon. Lennox Linton Leader of the Opposition exposed their dirty deals and corruption. We had enough of this misuse of funds and corruption…..and lack of any development. We are suffering.
Dominicans Linton needs help in tracking down all those owners of banks and other corrupt people who are coming in with all sort of cash in the name of hurricane relief, who is Compass Bank what do you really know about them . Dominicans we need to lobby to get Angelo back on the air and we know he would do some deep and serious investigations on all of the corruptions so It’s time that we the people begin to full up the inbox of Mr.G ( owner of Q95 ) also keep calling him to say we want Angelo back don’t give up till it’s done. Look Matt is ill and we want him to get better so he could return to us, so Mr.G get your pride out of the way and give us Angelo Q95 needs help and stop giving into Skerrit we the masses in DA and in the Diaspora are behind you and Q95.
I hope the National Treasury has enough storage space for this check. The last a whole truck load of ration was seen being stored on your property you claimed that, “There was no storage space available.” We need an account of this money.
But who in the world is Compass Bank? Where are they located? Is this bank located in Dominica? Why is attorney Lennox Lawrence present for a simple thing as a small financial donation of $US 50,000.00? Is there something illegal about this financial contribution that requires the presence of a lawyer?
