Good Job Officers! Government (Skerrit, Douglas, Austrie) give the officers the tools they need to continue doing a good job. K-9’s are the boss! Give them night vision cameras. Give them small speed boats. Give them cocaine detectors for vehicles. They need to do more traffic stops. Check those bays in “Tan Tan, Toucaurie etc. Make sure the Yachties check in. Escort them in and check there boats. Do lots of surveillance. Gather intelligence from the people in the coastal villages. Portsmouth is the ideal spot for drug trafficing. So step it up!

@IluvmyPm I blame skerrit for the increase in crime in Dominica and i don’t support uwp, I investigated the data for 63 countries and consistently found that higher homicide rates are correlated with more government (as measured by lower levels of economic freedom). , Crime in Venezuela skyrocketed under Hugo Chavez, but Dominicnas saying u cannot blame chavez for people greed.
Crime in New York dropped under Mayor Rudy Giuliani .

Usually, family members are involved (one way or the other)in the drug business. Relaying messages, covering up, having these Bank accounts and other assets established in their names for cover-up. They too should be investigated. Drug dealing business is usually a family business. Take them all down.

They keep trying to bring in illegal drugs. Good job police to have caught them. I hope they are not granted bail and do not go before the Judge to plead their innocence and be granted bail. If they were severely punished, the others would probably not dare try to sneak in more illegal drugs. Someone is encouraging them. Hope someday that someone or some people will be caught. God knows who you are.

The sentence structure is corret. Read it again.

      • Duncekyat
        November 18, 2013

While the sentence is grammatically correct, the structure may be seen as awkward and confusing. It could be read as the possessive case. That is, “the second town of Portsmouth” could be construed as “the second town belonging to Portsmouth” or “Portsmouth’s second town. This interpretation would imply that Portsmouth has, at minimum, two towns. The reader who is not familiar with Dominica might mistakenly adopt this interpretation. But we Dominicans can use common sense and understand what was meant and just accept the sentence without passing judgment. No big deal.

Something drastic has to be done to deal with this evil. but we need much more people`s involvement and money is always a sore point when we seek to arrest this situation,so those agents of death will continue until they self destruct!!!! First of its Prime Minister Skerrit, whether u support him or not have some form of respect to the country’s leader. And secondly the Honorable Prime Minister does not and cannot control anyone’s thoughts or actions. These two men are responsible for their actions and are to be held accountable. Stop being so covered in politics. Crime occurs in all countries not just Dominica. Each individual is responsible for his or her actions. Stop placing blame on someone else!
