Authorities responded to reports of a mass shooting in San Bernardino, California on Wednesday.
Reports first surfaced around 2:15 p.m. ET of an incident in the area. The official San Bernardino Country Sheriff’s Department Twitter account confirmed an active shooter in the area.
Video from the scene showed people lying on the ground, and police helping to support others who were wounded.
Despite reports of a Planned Parenthood in the area, a representative for the organization told CNBC that the shooting was not at their facility. Last Friday, a gunman stormed a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado, killing three people.

Seventeen times this year President Obama was on TV denouncing mass killing on American soil. In 2014 there were 14,000 murders reported, many were not reported. It is Muslims again as expected. These people are very desperate and with them building in Dominica, that makes the country on safe because these people are a threat to the entire world. According to the dad, his son was a true Muslim, who prayed and practiced his religion. But see where his devotion led him to. On the other hand, it’s a country of 320 million people, so bad things are bound to happen here and there. Your actual odds of being involved in an incident like this in the U.S. are vanishingly small.

Crime is on the increase in Barbados and the US embassy discouraged Americans from travelling to Barbados. I would say 14,000 is cause for concern. We have more crime in Dominica, if you wish to compare per capita to the United States, Dominicans claims that there are seventy thousand plus people in Dominica, that is another lie! People die everyday in Dominica, as far as I am concerned the death rate is higher than the birth rate, add to that the amount of people who leave Dominica every year, the last time I checked there were more than twenty five thousand Dominicans living in Antigua.

In reference to my response where I wrote fourteen I actually meant 14,000. Now let me tell you, no matter how many people get killed in America per day, that will not detour the tourists from visiting this country okay!
Whereas you have tens of millions of tourist visiting the United States per year, the country does not depend on the tourist dollar to earn revenue, none of the States in the United States depend on tourism to survive, not even Las Vegas, which is an entertainment, and gambling State. There are enough Americans young and old available to keep all the casinos wherever they are in America, operation. Dominica on the other hand should do everything we can to make it safe for the tourist because we need their money. One robbery can sink the industry in Dominica.
My comment was about the level of risk to visit the U.S. I’m aware that many Americans own guns, but the statistics are very clear that the odds are extremely low of tourists being shot there. It’s unreasonable to refuse to spend time there (at least for that reason).
