For the many in Dominica that doesnt know how it works in America. The prosicuters and defendant lawers eat at the same table discussing which cases they let go and which ones they find guilty. They take turns. Its all about money an reputation so dont give me that bull about laws in america. How many plp you i know that got away with crimes its not just Dominica. The judges and lawers try winning cases so they can get appointed when its election. Not because they care about the law they care about their pockets and the big houses, cars, boats and land they can sieze from plp who commit crimes and they buy it on the low so once again dont give me that crap about america law.

By now he would have been the Prime Minister of Antigua talking about no law no constitution. If they would ask him about the money he would tell Antiguans go to hell is not of their dam business.

Nobody is saying America is perfect. What we are saying is that there are systems in place to deal with those who breach the law, whereas in Dominica they would get away with it.

Don’t count on that. Comparing the American justice system with the foolishness we have in teh Caribbean is like comparing sugar cane and zaboka.

Tiger stop trying to bring down your own country, we can’t be compared with American, duh!!! but in terms of beauty everyone run down here to enjoy it. You know the amount of foreigners that buying our land. We don’t have the resources needed to fight crime here, so stop comparing.

        March 7, 2012

sugarcane and zaboca??? :?: :-? huh. when making a comparison like this use two different things that can be used for the same purpose. like sugar and honey- both does sweeten things.

If the same evidence had been presented in Antigua, what do you think the verdict would have been?

Stanford behaved like he was the king of Antigua throwing around other people’s money as if it was his. To be honest, I really thought he was playing with his own money.

Thank God for American justice where it does not matter how big you think you are, if you run afoul of the law, they will take you down.

      March 6, 2012

Well said. That will never happen in Dominica or anywhere else in the Caribbean leave alone Antigua!
