The police are getting really clever , no point in arresting anyone , they always seem to get off . But the supplier wont be at all happy and i doubt he will be giving anyone second chances.

The business of drug dealing is nasty and those getting involved in trying out, trafficking and protecting this trade better be aware of the damage which this will inflict on our country and it’s people. I pray that the persons responsible are caught and this practice can be brought to a halt. If not, then may God have mercy on our nation and intervene to save our people. Sad times indeed.

      Well said :!:

This applies to the production, possession, sale, and use of ALL drugs. We cannot justify one the drugs and condemn the others. They are all part and parcel of the same business. When we look closely we see they are all harmful and dangerous.

The use of one often leads to the use of another. People who begin to experiment with marijuana frequently graduate into the use of heavier drugs. A business of drug trafficking often develops into an illegal gun trade and leads to violence and murder.

Even when an arrest is not made I congratulate the police if they can confiscate the drugs and get them out of circulation. This hits the producers and distributers where it hurts: their bottom line! It is a setback!
Enough of this and you will bring the enterprise down.

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill.

Good job Police! Grand Bay appears to be a hot spot for drugs. Some of them did not want Mr. J.E. Nassief in Grand Bay. They burnt and seized his property in Geneva. He did not deserve that. Know how this hurt him and caused him much anxiety. His estate is one of the areas which could be used as a hot spot for growing illegal drugs.
As if through inspiration, I am happy and proud to say that. Mr. Nassief, in his spiritual world is not pleased at what they did to him. It placed a curse on Grand Bay. This is the work and recompense of the Lord who sees all evil deeds and punishes the wicked.
Police, keep up the heat throughout Dominica against those lawless people. It is of benefit to nationals.

If all the police does is find drugs and no arrest; then, the police force is a joke and waste of time. How did the know where to go and find the drug, without knowing whose responsible for the drugs? Shouldn’t even waste my time to comment on jokes like this.

    • April 4, 2016

      This comment is not correct.

Every raid will not result in an arrest. When a supply of drugs is confiscated the police have not wasted their time. On the contrary they have served their nation well :!: These forbidden substances will not reach the streets nor the hands of young people.

Many people do not understand the complexity of policing. I hope you will become better informed.

All I wish at this time is that the police would get the men at he top of the cocaine operation. Kill the spiders and you won’t have to worry about the webs. (I don’t mean “kill” literally. I mean put them away.

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.

Its quite obvious the Grandbay community is poisoning the rest of the Island. Its also likely their so called police in that community may be directly or indirectly involved. The police force should start using GoPro cameras attached to drones to scout suspected areas. Its a lot safer & cheaper than a helicopter. Will allow them to have eyes in the sky and on the ground. On another note all those marijuana plants if they were Hemp plants could do so much for the Island also Marijuana in small quantities should not be illegal this is not Europe or America where they have a system to target and trap black men for marijuana use. People should be allowed to have 3 plants per household and a set amount on a person should be specified for personal use. They can and and regulate and tax its sale in government licensed and controlled shops. Stop looking backward… its really time to look forward. This is obviously an economic booster and will prevent people illegal purchasing and using

I have no support giving to cocaine traffickers. They are criminals. These devils sell the poison to you, kill you physically, and still pass you straight on the road…It’s not often that I commend the pilice, but GOOD JOB OFFICERS!!!!KEEP IT UP!!!

Like most “recreational” drugs cocaine is harmful to one’s health.

It can cause a radical change in the personality.

In Canada a millionaire business man after he began using cocaine went quickly from being a pillar in his community to being a sex maniac assaulting women on his staff and eventually paying a man to murder his wife. This is more typical than exceptional although not every change is sexual in nature and not all addicts murder.

It is not unusual for a man high on coke to go on a serial crime binge of violence. The drug is involved in many murders and suicides.

Men selling cocaine have a tendency to also sell illegal guns to other drug dealers and people looking for a gun to commit a crime. Criminals wanting a gun know they need look no farther than their nearest coke dealer.

This much stuff was likely headed to other islands and cities in the Americas. Thanks to the Drug Squad for taking it out of circulation.

    Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.

I give support to this drug bust kill the cocaine!!! and those who trade in this poison when caught should be given long prison sentences with hard labour mean time free up the ganja!!!

15 kg of cocaine is worth way more than 405,000 EC. More like 2 mil. I wonder where the police get that fake estimate from!?

Dominica is a trans-shipment port. Those birds go for 30-35g’s up north but down there it’s way less. Dominica is like a Costco for coke for example. Or like a wholesale…

      April 1, 2016

yup the further north it goes the more expensive it get. in Colombia and Venezuela a kg of coke u can get really cheap. I think its US $1,000 per kg in Colombia

It’s sad that no arrests were made.. Cocaine is turning the youthful population into living deads …GOOD JOB DRUG SQUAD!!!!!While I believe that a discussion on what should be done with people caught with a small amount of marijuana,I am totally against cocaine…WHO KNOWS WHEN THE COCAINE WILL REACH OUR SCHOOLS?Marijuana is there already..

    • April 1, 2016

      %

I share your thoughts. You are very knowledgeable. Cocaine is more dangerous than marijuana. If it is not stopped it WILL get into the schools.

The devils who sell it will take it where ever there is a market. They will find a market in the high schools because students in the high schools are already using the weed and just waiting for the new high to take them to the next level. It confirms what I have been saying. Marijuana is a “gateway” drug. Users graduate into the harder drugs.

The police may never know the good they are doing. Thank you % for speaking out, and thank all you other sensible people who make yourselves heard. Thanks again to the police. These Drug Unit officers are genuine heroes. God bless you as you fight for the precious young people of your beautiful nature island :!:

Herbs as Basil, Mint, Oregano, Parsley, Thyme, etc. are better for our health. They are nutritious, soothing and calm the nerves. They are highly recommended for the health. Make tea with them and cook with them.
These illegal drugs are damaging to the health.

      • July 23, 2016

        Face the Facts:

Thank you for this common sense explanation :!:

It is so stupid when people call marijuana “the herb”. With the continual releasing of genuine knowledge it becomes more difficult for people to hide behind ignorance in their criminal efforts to promote marijuana.

So what if there is a book that defines “herb” to their advantage? It just means somebody got it wrong! Let me tell you I have a few books that define marijuana. This was part of my education so I’m not about to be swayed by a few left wing kooks!

The problem is these are people with absolutely no interest in facts because their craving for pleasure and love for money overrides everything else,
