Frances Frederick of Gullet River, Kalinago Territory, has been released on bail.
Frederick appeared before a Roseau Magistrate’s court on Thursday where she was granted bail in the amount of $100,000.
Marcus Phillip, a field extension officer from Concord, stood as her surety.
As conditions of her bail Frederick is supposed to report to the Salybia police station every Monday and Friday.
She is also expected to continue to live in the Kalinago Territory and inform the police of any change in address.
Furthermore, Frederick is to maintain good behaviour.
Frederick is facing a charge of manslaughter following the stabbing death of her boyfriend Nixon Francis in Gullet River on Saturday, March 17 2012.
Her matter was adjourned to June 13, 2012 at Marigot.

I do not know the circumstances but it is never right to kill anyone. If a man had killed a woman all would be saying give him a life sentence or hang him. Women need to learn to walk away from bad relationships especially if they are not married.
