Whatever the law is, people must live by the law. A little weed or not, it is illegal. If one day it becomes law, then it will be a different story. Until then, obey the law.
Those who want to ingest it, be drunk on it, mess up their brains and health, lose all their possessions and their family, it will be their funeral. This is what will happen to them. They are warned. People are responsible for themselves and must bear the consequences of their action. Later in life and if they grow older (do not die young), do not blame the government for their actions and for not having a job for they wasted their life.
Those of you who uphold them, you, too will bear the consequences of your words and being crude and rude to others on this Website and throwing mapwee to them and what they do not know about. Go ahead. Your life and the end of your days will not be a happy one. What you sow you reap and what goes around comes around twofold. Make you bed and lie in it.

All i know is that marijuana cured my nephew of EPILEPSY. Medically proven.

Never smoked it in my life.

Try eating a few teaspoons of NUTMEG. It will get you HIGH. Should nutmeg be outlawed because someone tried eating an excessive amount?

Drink 2 tablespoons of coffee using 1 cup of water. It will make you extra high and also give you a heart attack. Totally legal.

    This place is upside down…!

I hope no one adopts your recipe. I will not follow it.
I have heard that marijuana cures certain ailments and patients take them for cancer pain. These are Ontario government-approved.
One problem is when it is grown and trafficked to make exorbitant sums of money. The second when it is taken in a large quantity, you know what it could do.
The reputation of these drugs could also become deadly when guns are used to protect their turfs and those are unable to pay for them are murdered.
Nutmeg makes cakes and drinks tasty. I usually place a little bit, half a teaspoon in my fruit smoothies with honey. It is delicious.

So glad your nephew was cured of epilepsy or whatever was causing his seizures.

I would have to know more about his case before I could comment. Not all seizures are caused by epilepsy. We have known of cases where marijuana triggered the onset of a mental illness or a neurological disorder (and there is a difference). Obviously, marijuana should not be used to treat anything except under close medical supervision. However if it worked for your nephew this is a wonderful thing. I would be the first to say sound scientific research should be done to explore the medical possibilities of marijuana. Be careful with the NUTMEG and COFFEE. They are good commodities,
but that kind of experimentation is not recommended.

What I oppose is people using the alleged medicinal use of marijuana as an excuse to ”free the weed” to make it more available to those who want it to get high.

    Continuation …

If addicts will believe the gospel of Jesus Christ as it is defined in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 He will save them according to Romans 1:16. This means He will not only forgive their sins. He will break the chains of sin’s bondage, and set them free. Jesus Himself says ”And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)

The Bible says, ”Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, …” (2 Corinthians 5:17,18)

The Commonwealth of Dominica Police are relentless in the war against drugs. People should know if they deal with marijuana they will be caught, and they are going to pay the price.

Not only will they face a fine or time in jail, and maybe both. They will have a criminal record that will make it difficult for them to get a job. It will follow them for the rest of their lives.

The people who sell marijuana will introduce people to cocaine or heroine because if they can get them hooked on these hard drugs they will make more money off them and potentially have customers for life.

Heroine may be the most addictive drug in the world. Recovery programs are expensive and do not always work.

This is why it is so important for the police to arrest marijuana dealers and confiscate the stuff.

They should be severely punished for violating the Laws of Dominica. If not, they will never learn a lesson to cease this illegal drug-growing and trafficking.
In addition, they purchase and stock guns to sell and use them on nationals. If drugs were a good thing, they would not have guns in their possession and utilize them also during crimes. Therefore, there is nothing good about these drugs and dealing with them.
Everyone knows there is quick and exorbitant money involved to purchase homes, furnish them lavishly and to purchase the latest model of expensive vehicles. This is why they are involved in these drugs.
Obey the Law. If you defy it and even though you are not caught, God knows who you are. Everyone who disobey Laws God will, one day punish them.
Your obligation as a national is to obey the Law and encourage others to do likewise. Those who do not will pay the same penalty, if not worst for it is aiding, abetting and encouraging.

You do not need a response. Some of you love to contradict people when they make sensible comments. You know very well the duty of the police officers. So why bring this up. No further explanation necessary.

      • April 12, 2016

The cops carry guns to prevent crimes.

The drug dealers carry or sell guns to commit crimes.

One is legal the other is illegal.

One is to help the other is to hurt.

Is this rocket science or what :?:

. . . about my bro? Just who are you talking about? It is exactly what I have stated in the past. Some of you love to make innuendos without knowing who wrote the comments.
Let me inform you. I am from a well-respected, decent, hard-working family. They are not dogs on the street or street people.
None ever dealt with drugs. We are not drug people. We are healthy people who eat nutritious meals.
Who are you to make such a comment? You are out of place, always using this Website to throw your mapwee and at those you do not know.
If you know so much, tell me about that so-called bro whom I do not know and never heard of. He could be yours. Some of you take things out of yourselves and place them on others.

If only you knew my family. There are always some evil D/cans who lack peace as you, who create problems for others and who love to make nasty remarks at others whom you do not know. It is because you are an unhappy person.
Let me further inform you I do not interfere with any and everyone. Also on this Website, their comments give them away, who and what they are just as you. So get lost and you clean up your dirty act.
DNO is a Website for News and comments; not for hatred and mapwee which is so prevalent in you as I could see by your comments. You are not a good person. I only responded to you because you made an out-of-the way comment which makes no sense to me.
You know my comments. I harm no one and I speak the truth. I say, punish them severely. You are guilty and hiding your lifestyle. I am not interested in you.
You do not have the blessing and grace of God. May God rebuke you!!!

Do your research about people like John Dillinger and Al Capone in the 40’s and 50’s when alcohol was the most illegal drug and marijuana was very legal. Those were the days of alcohol prohibition where ANYONE found with alcohol, in their possession, could be jailed. Today i bet you yourself drink alcohol and even more so, alcohol is the USUAL SPONSOR for many events, even sports events. After one time is another. when you fools all die off, it will be the younger generation who will set things right. for years the rhetoric of people who have never even smoked or only got high once from eating too much cake or smoking without proper guidance will wither away and the truth about marijuana will be accepted, not just known.
