Youth people today as well as old need to learn to control their anger and do not act on their emotions. If someone encounter a problem with another there is a proper way to handle it. The education system tries hard to assist young people especially at the secondary level but some of our youths leave school still bent in their ways. Some of them do not even listen to their parents. This is so sad and this is some of the result of their behavior. Lord help us. My sympathy to all the families affected by this unfortunate situation. Now is not the time to rejoice at any ones mishap. What we need to do is to consider ourselves, our families, our friends and even our neighbours and find ways to encourage them to do right and live a life of love for each other and our fellow men.

How can we, as adults, teach children how to behave when we are so quick to act on emotions rather than logic? Ever wonder why our youths are so angry and wayward? Because adults are teaching them that problems can be solved with guns, knives, and stones. Some parents even enable their children’s bad behavior by not confronting the behaviors they display. Anyway, this killing is no phenomena; people kill all the time. Perhaps, in the midst of teaching children how to dress for school, prepare for some slavery job; we should remind them that there are 6.8 billion others in the world , and learning to use words instead of harmful objects may stop the killings.

you look so handsome.you always gave me a lovely smile.
      May you rest in peace.
Our system, and especially our school system have failed our young men.
      Parents have failed their sons.

May the Lord Jesus Christ comfort the family of the bereaved, the sick, and also the hurt. Young man, if you are reading, this is not the end! If we had our way you would have been killed already but God operates very differently.
Though we have lost a life and another is hurt, the hardest thing to do is forgive. Young man, God forgives the vilest offender who truly believes in him. Of course you will pay the consequence if you are guilty; however, this is not the end. If you are guilty give your life to Christ in the prison. Get a bible and read his word! Find peace and forgiveness from your enemy and pray boy! I do not know you but Gd can change everything because he is God! If there is someone who is reading this message who knows this boy please tell him!
To those who think negatively, please keep your comments and clean your eyes first for your neighbor is first but you may be next.
Dominica, humble, pray, seek God’s face for healing and it shall be a better place.
    Praise…

Cheap shots .I understand your frustration when bad thinks happen . Although I am not in agreement with the Government on a lot of things , you cannot always blame the government when people act irrational .This happens all over . Tortola has 25 unsolved murders e.g . So please give me a break .

Regardless of what anyone does i can never revel is someone going to jail. yes crimes must be paid for but jail does in no way help society. i cannot rejoice in this young man wasting his life in jail for a senseless act. Until you yourself goes to jail or one of your loved ones you will know.

Sorry is indeed a very sorry word..problems come and go but lost lives do not return. our people need guidance both young and Old to settle our problems without violence.
Lord have mercy on the souls of our nation..give us the power of reasoning and discernment. Strengthen our resolve to be tolerant and understanding of our differences..We as a people should be together, we’re not each other’s enemies..

Seems like strength continues to be wasted on the young and wisdom wasted on the old..where is this balance of which we seek? Stop and think a little..remember Love is the Key..

Their parents should be inspiring them, not the Govt. Besides, these are grown men! Grown men need to be working, and managing their emotions and anger.
