A man was taken into police custody on Wednesday afternoon on alleged connection with a fatal accident in Bioche which left one woman dead.
Police sources told DNO the man was arrested at the Douglas Charles Airport and has since been taken to Police Headquarters in Roseau.
The sources say the man was previously taken into custody but was released, however he was arrested again based on new information.
At this point his exact connection to the accident is unknown.
The body of Misley Rolle, 28, was found protruding from the windshield of a wrecked vehicle on the seashore in the Bioche area on Monday, September 12.
The police are still investigating and have not given a cause of the accident.
DNO will continue to follow this unfolding development and publish information when it becomes available.
After having written the above and sent it, saddened by this, I got up from the chair for a while. As I returned, the thought crossed my mind: “Don’t worry, she asked God forgiveness before she died.” This is consoling.
Keep in mind she must have done some good deeds, to some people, during her life.
Our Loving, Compassionate, Forgiving and Merciful God never overlooks good deeds.
Our Lord said: “Those who call on Him will be saved.”
God hears, and answers well-meaning prayers. I always say, “Not my will but Thine be done, O Lord.” Thank you Lord!
To the family of Misley Rolle, our heartfelt sympathy to you. She left you, not of her own volition. To me, looking at her picture, she looks too full of life and would never have done something as that.
I think of how scared she was at what was occurring to her and how much she suffered as she thought of you her family and more. . . .
Dominicans near and far, as the sad news spread and others who heard/read about what occurred to her are shocked. It is heartrending. How we wish this did not happen to her. Take heart, many thoughts, prayers and well wishes are with you. Most of all God is with you and is consoling you and your aching hearts. I have been thinking of her. I prayed for her soul and asked God to reveal the truth. Well, He did. I am certain many of you felt the same. Note that most of us did not make any accusations either of her or someone else, if someone did it.
For me, when I looked at her picture, somehow I could not believe she would have done that to herself.
This man is something else. What type of heart he has? Such a beautiful person, be it that I know her only by her face, he would do something as that to her.

Great police work so far! From that photo, the vehicle’s body and back tyre look pretty good after falling off a sheer cliff. Looks like the vehicle was gently placed there. The damage to the windshield is not consistent with the rest of the vehicle. Odd. Were any of her belongings found in the vehicle and was she the one who rented the vehicle? This case requires careful thought to ensure that justice is done for the four children left behind.

OMG OMG OMG…what can i say to the family and friends of this young mother who was so clearly loved and appreciated? Words are all i can give to you but i know they must seem so empty knowing what ur going through…dont want to preach to u but the sad reality is that nothing will bring ur beloved misley back and even though i never knew her somehow i can feel ur pain…clearly this young woman was taken much much too soon..but like a previous poster said stand by this investigation to the very end…if this was just a horrible horrible accident then may she rest in peace…if it was suicide i pray that she ‘s found the peace she was searching for but if this is murder then i really do hope that justice prevails for misley and her family but espacially the kids she leaves behind

why stab wounds should be an issue ? of course if you all know anything about an accident of that nature , you would be able to understand that any piece of that vehicle can cause stab wounds. Stab wounds that may be larger and deeper than even using any other object because of force and impact . Who in their good mind would expect a vehicle to reach down a precipice without extensive damage done to the vehicle and severe injury to the occupant(s) , only a mad person in his / her hallucination.
I drive this road fairly often and I cannot seem to comprehend how the driver could have found herself down there unless she was really racing, Sleeping or under the influence of some substance. I INITIALLY SUSPECTED FOUL PLAY but am not an investigating officer…I hope the reasons for this hideous act will be brought to light quickly and the perpetrator gets what he deserves.

From I saw the young lady FB post I said that guy knows something, but like right thinking people would do is let the police do their job. His returning soon after she died, after the police questioned him, sounds extremely fishy. He gave others grounds for suspicion.
According to her FB posts she had a young baby with the name Leila Lee. Which seems to also be the boyfriends last name. I’m assuming then that he was not just a boyfriend but also the father to at least one of her children. Which makes it even fisher that he would be trying to ‘go back to AXA’ when the mother of his child just passed. I’m not sure but I’m wondering. This is just so crazy I am telling you. His last name is Lee? He does not sound like he is Dominican-born. It is suspicious that, under the circumstances, he was returning to where he resides. He projected he is cold-hearted.
Since it appears she has a child with him, he was previously in Dominica. Poor child too who will grow up without a mother and will be saddened when he/she learns about what happened to her.
Dominicans who are compassionate (I expect most are), are obviously saddened.
It is also not an easy matter for the family to comprehend and accept. We feel their grief.
I feel this should never have happened to her. Sadly, it did.

What we have before us is a crime because the man left the scene knowing full well an ”accident” had happened and there was obviously a serious injury. He was located at the airport. This suggests that he was trying to escape by leaving the island. He wasn’t about to tell the police what he knows.
