Good that he was caught. You know if he resided in a communist country what would happen to him.
It was not stated if he was caught during the robbery or soon after. Mention was not made if the money was retrieved.
He should not be bailed and put back on the street. He should be given a stiff sentence. The tendency to steal will still be with him and probably until he dies. A leopard does not change its color overnight.

The real tragedy goes to one who tries to defend himself against those robbers. He then has to go through the hassle of defending himself in court. (That is if he is still alive). The police are being extra careful that they don’t end up like the Portsmouth Trio, so they handle everything with kids gloves.

I am from salisbury and just like you and I the police knows who is who, but can they just meet the person or persons on the streets and arrest them? NO!!!!!!!!!! The person has to be actually caught in the act of stealing or be in possession of items that do not belong to them. So i really don’t get your point. Another thing what does protest have to do with that? We the people of Salisbury protested for a cause. The young boys who did this needs a beating and jail time to the fullest extent of the Law. BE REAL YOU THINK THAT THE POLICE ARE NOT GETTING REPORTS ABOUT ROBBERIES

I wish some of the protesters who threw the stones at the police were around to have thrown stones at the robber. Then we would know whom it was.

You said it right. When we see sick-looking people and those who appear poor, we tend to feel sorry for them. Some of them did some wicked things in their former years. Some of them also pick pocket people right in the store. They pull their wallet from their hand, right in front of the cashier. They also do that in public transit. The stories are many. How can anyone feel sorry for criminals?
I said to a parish Priest that the poor Our Lord Jesus Christ spoke of in those days is not the same as today. Reason, every poor person gets government assistance. They get free eye glasses, free dental care and free medication. Those who work do not get that unless they contribute to an insurance group at their work place. Even then it is not free.
Today, someone informed me of a man who wears a shirt saying he is poor and unemployed. They go to certain areas as also grocery stores to get help. Some people take advantage of those who appear better off than they.

You have read that those who commit murder appeal to a higher court with the help of their attorney to have the sentence decreased. They are really bold and playing strong.

That’s cool. I just hope he doesn’t follow the example of those nasty men that think they can allegedly abuse our 15 year old girls and then try to prevent the nation’s court to not read their charge to them. It’s a bad example our leaders are setting and it’s time our pm call them out

Businesses, homes, and some street entrances need camera’s. Make it mandatory to have working camera’s or get fined. DA is a small island catching criminals who break the law would be easier to do if their was a better surveillance system in place.
