Many Dominican Women, employed or not, are living on credit to have what the wealthy have. They attempt to attain status through fashion, phony glamour, or material possessions, while lacking the means. That’s the impetus behind the whole “keeping up with the Jones’ ” mind set. The desire to see how the other half lives is not a new one….. so unfortunate and embarrassing.

Lmao y’all so judgemental. The young lady didn’t even steal anything…and it’s an allegation…y’all better hope nothing happens to y’all by mistake. This young lady is an upstanding person who is going through this because she stood up for herself. Fools. Keep judging still!

The government of Dominica with the help of the College should design a course in ETHICS everyone in the public service should be given this course in addition to making it mandatory at the high school level. I would want to think all majors at the state college should have an ethics course at least. This does not mean that you can prevent people from being tempted to do things but you know you have given them the opportunity.

You mean they have no parents, who can teach them ethics? May God help us.

      En ba la

Don’t you want the government and the college to teach them to wash their hands after they use the bathroom too and launder their clothes when they are dirty? Once again the parents have no role or responsibility? It is the government, teachers, the church and everybody else with everything.

That is not to say that this particular incident with this particular person is a reflection of upbringing but we are just developing a culture of absolving people of their responsibilities and looking for someone else to blame for everything under the sun.

I just think that this situation is a really sad and unnecessary one and hope that the young lady and others can learn from it.

Women, women, some women not easy in the work place today. They have no pride in themselves, lacks confidentiality in the work place and good customer relations skills. Adding insult to injury is the minister of Cabinot from Grand Bay showing support for men who trample on women and little girls. So what do we expect when they have little chance in society.

    • July 13, 2016

Is she the only one who has shown support to that? You might well be one trampling on women, men, children and animals so shut it up

These are the type of activities we have come to expect under this RED machine. No surprises here; immorality dominates this land. It’s simple!!! If you follow a voleur you will become a voleur. By further extent if your leader doesn’t practice good manners, don’t know how to wash his dirty hands after he uses the toilet and the nation adopts his dirty ways, they will reflect his image and they will be filthy as well.
