Missing ATV found in Jimmit by police

Police are reporting that a blue Yamaha, 250 Raptor Wheeler All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) belonging to Proprietor of Depex Colour Lab, Emile DePooter of Shawford, which was reported missing has been recovered.

The vehicle was found in Jimmit, Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Sergeant Pellam Jno Baptiste, said.

He noted that the ATV went missing between 4:00 pm on December 18, 2015 and 8:00 am on December 19th 2015.

It was found on December 21.

Anyone with information which can assist the police in the investigations can contact the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at telephone numbers 266-5164, 266-5165 and 266-5119 or Crime Stoppers Dominica 1-800-TIPS or 1-800-8477.

Investigations are ongoing, Jno Baptiste said.

    Stolen and found. It is good news that it was found. Hope it is in good condition. Now, to catch the culprit.
    I hope fingerprints were taken.

    DNO I know there are more robberies in DA than we would like to see, but to make the recovery of Emile’s ATV a news item is a bit too much. Where do you draw the line on triviality?

      Apparently you are ignorant of the fact that taking conveyance which is a separate charge from theft carries a sentence of FOURTEEN YEARS. Put that in your triviality pipe and smoke it.
