Police hunt for escaped prisoner

(DNO) Another prisoner described as dangerous, is on the loose in Dominica.

Police say they are searching for Dexter JnoBaptiste of Pichelin, who to date has made his second escape. Cyril Carette, deputy chief of police, revealed that Jno Baptiste had been sentenced to three years imprisonment two years ago, and subsequently escaped from prison.

“He had served only one month and escaped from prison; since then, police were in pursuit of Dexter Jno Baptiste… He was caught in the Grandbay area during a police operation on the 10th of June.”

According to official information, Jno Baptiste complained of chest pains while behind bars and was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for medical care, where he made his escape again.

“He was under a police guard and he escaped between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Sunday 13th of June,” Carette confirmed.

Dominicans are being urged to report any information concerning Jno baptiste’s whereabouts, to the Grandbay or other police stations on the island.

Police have still not captured Steven Alphonse of Belles, also described as dangerous. He had escaped for the third time earlier this year.

thats the kind of slackness we speak about amongst our police officers in dominica.
they will laugh with you, drink with you and all that when not in uniform and plus, they never serious when they not in uniform too. when they're in uniform they try to get serious and there's nothing there.
see the BIG GAP in time.. between 12am and 3am… they can't even narrow it down and give a better time gap……thats to show how all you not doing all you work. they probably was trying to rap a nurse and they still have a wife at home… really when is the law going to become THE LAW?
