Police investigate suspected arson in Campbell

police do not crossThe police have been called in to investigate a suspected case of arson in the village of Campbell.

A house belonging to Errol Carbon was destroyed by fire on Friday and according to leading fireman Wayne Letang, the police are now involved.

“The police are currently doing investigations into that fire also,” he said.

Letang stated that around 11:00 am, the fire personnel from Roseau and St. Joseph responded to a fire in the community.

“On arrrival on the scene officers met the roof of the building completely caved in and the fire was already in its smouldering phase,” he said.

He pointed out that the owner of the house, who is a huckster, was out of state and is expected home today (Friday).

He said the house was gutted and all contents destroyed.

Letang noted that although investigations are ongoing, arson is suspected and police remain on the scene as of Friday afternoon.

Arson? Well, I suppose the perpetrator can take comfort in the fact that the firebombing of GON Emmanuel’s house was not seen as a crime by the authorities!

Only a bad mined wicked person would do such an evil act burning someone’s house that really sad. After the person worked so hard to build his house for someone to burn it the evil that you do lives with you.

Poor person who lost his house. I am sorry to read about it that someone would burn down a hardworking person’s residence or anyone’s residence for that matter. Why would the arsonist do something like that? Is it envy or sheer wickedness? I wonder if the belongings were stolen and then fire was set to the house to hide the theft. Imagine returning home to find your house burned down. This is obviously extremely hard for him. I hope he has property insurance.

Errol is a very hard worker and so he will survive. After all, most Carbons believe in self reliance. Mr. Carbon hold strong, there is light at the end of tunnel. Trust in the Almighty and you will persevere. Love Always!

Just think, when dey go to Hell, this is when dey will fraid and it will be too late for dem where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. As serious as it is, it is worth a good laugh. And dey will not be laughing for dey will be keeping company with Satan who will taunt dem for their faithlessness. As it is stated in the Book of Revelation, “Let the good continue to do good and the wicked continue to be wicked.”
