Hello and good morning my people. Well what will it take to keep this man in jail because this is the second time he’s been arrest for possession of cocaine. We’ll suppose you are visiting home and you rent a vehicle from him but unknowing to you he stash a few kilos of cocaine underneath the back seat. This man shouldn’t be in the car rental business because I surely won’t rent from him. I guess he’s car rental business isn’t profitable so he has to in the drug business .

Grant him bail and allow him to travel. We need magistrates and judges from other countries to up-hold the laws in Dominica. I have no respect for our law enforcement people in this country called Dominica. Tax payers should rise up against such corruption in our court system. These magistrates and judges are below low.

It is a sad period in the history of Dominica, when the majority of Dominicans do not have confidence in the police and the court system.

This case is not going any where, our police officers in the drug unit do not, and cannot investigate these people. No drugs was found on JX,. The reason why all the big drug cases are going down the drain is due to lack of surveillance, and the fact that the police force including the the drug unit is filled with corrupt cops. JX sue them when you case is over and laugh them all the way to the bank.

What happens when literally a whole file of documents for a court case goes missing and can’t be found? Case dismissed! Allegedly, there has been no dearth of curious cases in our system where files have mysteriously disappeared. This one will be interesting.

    • The Facts
      July 5, 2014

It appears they cannot be trusted if files go missing and a murder case is dismissed. This is sheer negligence. It should never have occurred.
What should be done, as is done in stores in Canada and other countries. There should be a detector or a trusted security member to detect and search them at the end of their shift if they have any big packages, when they are leaving the premises.

My take on this one is, the same as those in high places who’ve been caught with the same white powder before. It will just fade away, languishing in the corrupt court system till we hear no more of it. But if it was one of the Rastamen or any poor individual, he would be paying heavy fines and confined in jail. Such is reality in our country.

Because something is in your vicinity does not mean it is yours. Note that they never say exactly where they get the drugs besides saying it was found in Tan Tan … The said that ” During the operation, Nissan pathfinder registration number TC565 was seized” but they have not clearly stated if it was found in the vehicle. Which part of Tan tan was it found…by the bridge? on the road side? By the bay? In the vehicle?…to much loop holes…they need to come with the right story. And DNO you edited my first comment…let the truth be known… DPF Desperate… And them people that rejoicing… i hope none of all u ever stretch all u hand out for help from him..

nobody said that life would be easy. sometimes in life when you try to make a living under systematic pressures, you endup falling in the same hands of the system which is worst than the initial problem itself. however at the end of the day the leaders only care for themselves and probably if the country was rather doing something to boost the economy then business men would be able to sustain their businesses legally rather than forcing them illegally…. REMEMBER PLEASE DONT SAY MUCH… WE ALL LIVE THE LIFE. DESPERATE TIMES CALLS FOR DESPERATE MEASURES.

It’s good that the police force is removing all these illegal substances from our streets. Cocaine is a problem because wherever it is found it brings a lot of crimes with it…that being said I am wondering why it is taking so much time for the police department to deal with the NOISE POLLUTION that is causing so much stress on the Law abiding citizens of our land? Just wondering if cocaine is the only problem.

Just give police officers work to do and after give them bad name, low salaries and not thinking of how many days they have to stay away from their families to protect a population. One police officer doing the job of 3 men. You have to be in it to feel it!!
