Security arrangement for Glenworth Emmanuel

Emmanuel

Chief of Police Cyril Carrette has revealed that arrangements are being made to protect Glenworth Emmanuel, a former magistrate, after a fire at his St. Aroment residence last Christmas Day.

Carrette told a morning program on state-owned DBS radio Tuesday that police are serious about their investigations into the case, which they have labeled arson, and will not at this time divulge details relating to the matter.

“I wouldn’t want to disclose what sought of security arrangements are being made. Security arrangements are being made for Mr. Emmanuel but we do not discuss all those sorts of matters in public. We do investigations and if we are to give a ball by ball commentary on the investigations that we are doing, we would never have any successful investigation,” Carrette stressed.

Emmanuel had his vehicle completely destroyed by the fire and parts of his house were damaged. Though no one has been arrested in connection with the incident, Carrette assured that police are not ready to close investigations into the matter.

“We are dealing with it with all seriousness”, he said, and has urged the public to assist.

“No matter how minute the information is, it may just be that missing link,” he added.

God sees all. Criminals who think they have eluded justice are deluded. Facing justice here in this brief life is far easier than facing justice for eternity. You who attempted to murder this man will know the full wrath of the almighty. You who steal and swindle and think you get away with it will know full retribution. And those who pretend to do justly while protecting the wicked will feel the flames.

is there any other security company in DA? Mr. Emmanuel should hire his own private security and put that on the tab for when he win.

This protection should have been given priority ever since this incident occurred. However, it is never too late. Get with it and implement it immediately. More action and less talk. Mr. Emmanuel’s security is important and necessary.
As for the perpetrator(s) who have committed this atrocious crime, God has seen you! God knows you and who did it. You can run but you cannot hide from God. You will not escape God’s fair and just recompense. What you have done is written in the Book and will not be erased unless you turn yourself in to the Police and admit your crime. In addition, to sincerely ask God for forgiveness and make restitution for what you have done to another fellow Dominican.
You do know the Ten Commandments of God. They are not suggestions but Commandments.
Thou shalt not harm/injure anyone and their property. Thou shalt not murder or try to murder anyone. Thou shalt love others as you love yourself. Thou shalt preserve life in general.
Everyone deserves to live in peace and security. To deprive others or try to deprive them of this prized possession, their property and life is a mortal/grievous sin. By your own doing, you will have to carry the burden of this sin throughout the rest of your days and into eternity.
It is better to do good than to do evil. Far better.

This is a poor excuse for a Chief of Police, only now he sees the need for police protection? After all these months of protecting Mr Isidore? This is really the next level down in our police force!!!

Nagatively Dominica, Y.F.O.S. what do you mean too little too late? where the hell you people have your brains? understand investigations are what they are and all investigations takes different format some investigations can be far reaching ie depending on the nature of the case ,investigations can be prolonged and also it can be quick as we love to say in cases when the case is “Cooked” when every thing falls in place and the trail is hot, some so named Dominicans just lay in waiting and prance on any thing no matter how miniute and trivial it is once it pertains to the police Force some people have their axe to grin and the nature of our world RE; Information sharing has become so easy with persons having no proof or they`re not called upon to take responsibility for their actions therfore it`s always open season regardless of who is involved and thats a dam shame. But dont we worry what goes around comes around” When the rain falls it does not fall on one man or one woman`house. As the saying goes we can have too much of a good thing and it is likely to result in our own demise. Bare in mind every thing we place on this midium is stored forever and one day it can come back and bite some in the rear end. Just remember that! Retired Com, of Police.

    May 3, 2011

Well I guess the criminal had the rest of December, January, February,March, April and now the beginning of May to finish what they started and they didn’t. Is the security really necessary now? .

I hope is not the security that will finish the job. Mr.Emmanuel do not trust no man. Pay attention to that same security technique that was offered to Mr.Eddison James. Think wisely.
