Unconfirmed reports, from sources close to DNO, indicate that Tyson ‘Boyee’ Thomas of Portsmouth was the victim of a shooting last night, at around midnight.
The shooting took place near the Portsmouth Roman Catholic Church, in the vicinity of the home of the victim’s mother.
Thomas, who was hit mostly in his extremities, was taken to the Portsmouth Hospital and subsequently to the Princess Margaret Hospital, where he remains, nursing his wounds.
Those within ear-shot report having heard seven shots fired.
Attempts at a statement from the police have so far proven unsuccessful, but DNO will bring you updates, as this story unfolds.
