Police in St Vincent were called into action on Monday morning with the discovery of two bodies in a house in the old Montrose section of capital city Kingstown.

Information is that a relative came to visit family members and found one lying dead in the verandah and the other inside of the house. The deceased persons are said to be a male and a female, mother and son .

This brings to total 4 homicides over the last 12 hour period.

On Monday morning around 12.30 a man was killed in Campden Park just on the outskirts of Kingstown. His head was reportedly battered with a block and he also sustained stab wounds.

In the early morning hours of Monday, November 14, an elderly woman was killed in Kingstown Park, a community within the capital. She too was battered in the head.

The bodies found on Monday morning, according to information, bore similar resemblance to the murders last evening.

Police have so far one person, a male said to be 18 years old, in custody.

By the comments I can see we have a lot of uneducated people using the internet. I barely see a sensible comment on this issue. Have you considered mental illness? Wow, sad.

Before you all run your mouth, the 411 on the guy and I quote, “He has a long history of mental illness”, and “Read, about him a few months, ago; Tried to kill his mom on that occasion.” Institutionalizing the mentally might be hard for relatives to accept, but for the general safety.

What else could be done compared to having him free and a potential hazard to law-abiding and tax-paying members of society?

Some of them are given medication but may not take it all the time. Medication stabilizes them. When they do not take it this causes them to be difficult to deal with and could lead to this.
How sad four people were killed. I wonder, were they known to him and vice versa? I do not expect he will be out again in society.
The Vincentian government will have to find a way to incarcerate such people. They should not be out in society.
Personally if I knew people had a mental problem, I would not want to be near them. They could strike at any time. I pity those who work where they are incarcerated. Some of them have injured/killed workers.
The Vincentian government will have to find a way to incarcerate such people. They should not be out in society.

Very sad. Our condolences go out to the families.

Four murders in twelve hours? A similar resemblance?

A “spirit of homicide” is at work. We bind it in Jesus’ name and ask God to cover the homes and individuals with the protection of HIS precious blood.

    Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill.

This young man went on a rampage. Why? He has an extremely wicked heart. Would like to know what type of person he is to do something as heartless like that. It takes hard-hearted people to have the nerve to commit murder.
Young people all over the world commit murder, some younger. There are cases they murder their parents and siblings. The question is how did they turn out like that?

How do you know that the young man wasn’t mentally ill and not able to get appropriate treatment?

So because there was 4 deaths in St Vincent. We allowed to have numerous deaths in Dominica…right?
i’d just hold your head down a toilet and flush it.

    • Your are a bloody idiot?

What does murder in St. Vincent have to do with people dying in Dominica? There is a difference in death, by natural causes, and murder!

Do you know the difference; or are you in competition with St. Vincent to see which of the two island thugs, insane criminals can murder more people?

Reading the one liners at the top to where I got are nothing more than foolishness, the Dominica badge of stupidity which you all ware on your forehead is on display for the world to see, how stupid?

Living right is not a Dominican thing. It involves all inhabitants of the earth. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”. 2 Chronicles 7:14.
Our way of life makes our land sick. Any land who obeys this command will stand out and be respected through out the earth!
