A man was stabbed in Mahaut on Friday evening, information reaching DNO has revealed.
Reports are that the matter stemmed over a dispute for WiFi.
The man who was stabbed has been taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital.
His condition is unknown at this time.

persons need to respect other people property. while i do not agree that you should get physical for stealing my wifi, it is still stealing. i know that in recent passwords does little to protect your wifi and depending on your speed, the ones doing the stealing can control your wifi while you are inside frustrated with the provider.
i know that recently my wifi was broken into and a hotspot create right outside my home. while inside my home i struggled to get any kind of internet.

I have not heard of a stabbing or shooting last evening. I was out all day and so I did not listen to the News. Will hear what transpired last night and today. Nearly every day/night there is a shooting and stabbing and more than one.
I am unable to comprehend why people must shoot and stab others. Bad temper and wickedness of heart is the cause of this. Some try to steal from another. If they are not successful they will harm the other. They are too quick to use these weapons. One day they will find out wickedness does not pay.
Why would someone stab another person over a WI-FI?
If they are talking about the type used in the modern world; that is something which accommodates no less than five different electronic equipment at the same time.
The one I have in my house five different people can use it simultaneously without obstructing any one user! Now if is a matter of someone not wanting to split the cost, one still should not have to commit a crime over that!
The simplest thing to do was simply disconnecting the line if someone who can help pay refuse from the rear of the system; it does not take brain to do that. Dominica has become a place where people kill their family over nothing; that’s a shame!

The victim could have been killed. Here in Canada we see people die from stabbings so this is a serious crime.
This happened over a WiFi? I wonder at such a small thing becoming so big in somebodies life he (or she)

this net aspect really must be looked at carefully, maybe the providers need to give more affordable packages due to the economic downfall in Dominica?
since the unleashing of tablets to students across the island many have seen a increase in net users and the cry for better and faster coverage is in high demand..
my view i think the providers in Dominica give a way below par service in terms of speed quality, many on the island suffer from extremely poor net service, whilst the companies boast of them giving off top quality which isn’t the truth!!
