The operation took place in Tan Tan.

In court they all pleaded not guilty.

Akima St. Jean was granted bail in the sum of $60,000 while Akmel St. Jean and Damian Thomas were remanded in custody.

This matter was dismissed in the Portsmouth magistrate court… Because police tried to frame up these people! A few people saw when the police dropped a package in the exact are where he said he found the ammo. He didn’t realize people was looking at him from a building sight……

A high majority of the youths are following the bad example. There is a disease blowing in the air in Da, and it is called crime. The criminals take the act as badge of the ‘no law no constitution’ honour.
    Poor souls.

My heart is breaking for the young people of Dominica. We are too small of a nation for there to be so many young people who seem to have no direction in life and choosing to be engaged in illegal acts. My prayer for our nation is that we set our houses in order so that a straight way will be made for our children and grandchildren. Too much focus is placed on the wrong things.

Young men and women who commit crimes, please change your ways for your very own good. You are harming yourself. Those who truly love themselves and others will not resort to a life of crime.
Criminals contribute nothing beneficial to their country and society in general. This also includes your life. They make themselves useless nationals. They do not contribute to its economy and safety and peace. A life of crime could lead to an early demise. For those who live by the gun die by the gun. They could end up in prison for a number of years. What good is this to them forfeiting their good name, freedom, their future and in obtaining a job, if they do not spend the rest of their lives in prison?
What has happened to some young people that they turned to a life of crime, collecting and hoarding ammunition and also guns instead of attending school, completing it in order to get a legal paying job? It appeared that they were planning to wipe out the whole of Dominica or nearly all of it. This is wickedness of the heart, having no feeling and consideration for their fellow nationals.
Why do they love guns so much? They are not toys to play with. Ammunition and guns are used to kill people. They knew very well what they would have done with them.
Furthermore, where did they get them? Who gave it to them? Were they transported from overseas, on boats or the airplane? Many questions and many unanswered ones.

All these ammunition must have a gun too be fired from. I would give them the same harsh penalty as having a gun. Water boarding not illegal in Dominica let me have them i Will get info from them. When i done with them they will tell me where they get the ammo, and where are the guns that they were made for. Time to get serious.

      September 25, 2012

They could not have ammunition with no gun(s). They must have hidden the gun(s) elsewhere. I wonder if they were going to sell the ammunition.
The police should try to root out this information from them. They are smart and will not divulge it. This is why they should be imprisoned for a certain length of time.

It is quite simple. Bad company and influence lead to temptation, to a lawless life and to commit crime.

You need to utilize your common sense and think. The men were the ringleaders. She was not. She befriended them, they could have used her and she was caught in their company with the ammunition and gun. This could be encouraging them in crimes and aiding and abetting. This is how some people get themselves in trouble and some innocently. I am not insinuating that she is innocent but some people do find themselves unsuspectingly in such situations.

Parents are the primary educators of their children. It commences from home. They should also be disciplined while they are attending elementary school. They are left on their own. They make friends with the wrong people. They do not consider that they could be caught and then will have a criminal record at their young age.

  14. September 23, 2012

Don’t worry Damian, every rope has an end. Cause u just pure ‘wotless’! I feel sorry for Akima, why?…because Damian killed her independence and marred her future. I just hope that it’s not too late for her, remembering her so beautiful and full of promises until this thug practically had the young lady like a prisoner. Look to the heavens girl, Jah will provide for you and your kids if you really want out of this mess. Akmel, son, you better find a way to break this generation curse and get off the path that your father tread. Remember his demise. Help your sister get away from this loser and make something positive of yourself in society.

Read the following. This should answer your question.

Magazine – arsenal – weapon store – armory.

Armory – An armory (US spelling) or armoury is a place where ‘arms – weapons’ and ammunition are made, maintained and repaired, ‘stored’, issued to authorized users, or any combination of.

Arsenal – An arsenal is a place where ‘arms’ and ammunition are made, maintained and repaired, ‘stored’, issued to authorized users, or any combination of those.

Changing also means away not associating with bad company; staying away from them. She must be strong to resist associating with them.
Yes! If she is serious about changing and turns to God with sincerity, a humble and contrite heart and asks his help, He will grant it. No one is beyond changing. They merely have to make up their minds.
