Two men, who were charged in a robbery at Jewellers International located in Fort Young Hotel, are prime suspects in an alleged murder case in St. Maarten.

Online website 721news, based in St. Maarten, is reporting that Michael Alexis Magoire, alias Alexis Roberts, and Jason Dubique, alias Brent Berry,
are wanted by the police in the case known as “Zucchini.”

In that matter, Deyanida ‘Clarisa’ Fayenete, 19, was reportedly shot dead in the Dutch Quarter on March 18, 2014.

A release from the Prosecutors Office in St. Maarten on April, May 8, 2014, named Alexis Roberts and Brent Berry as suspects in the case and the police appealed to them to turn themselves in for questioning.

According to 721news, the two suspects are known by different names in St. Maarten and Dominica because they have dual nationalities.

Reports are that three masked men entered the Jewellers International sometime between 9.00 am and 9.15 am and held up the security officer on duty with a gun.

Some 45 Rolex watches, valued at over $1.8-million, were allegedly stolen in the heist.

  1. Stop crime everywhere!
    June 2, 2016

These boys returned home to the country of their parents, which is Dominica, and committed a crime. Such a shame.

  2. Murder.

    Major theft.

Not yet proven in a court of law but it looks that way.

Sad because a human life has been taken. Sad because two young men with their futures ahead of them have messed up so terribly.

There is within each of us a fallen broken human nature already bent in the direction of sin. This Adam nature is capable of any crime. It should be understood that “murder” and “theft” are symptoms of the disease of sin that festers in every man and woman.

Jesus Christ took our place and died for our sins on the cross at Calvary. God raised Him from the dead to show that He accepted His Son’s sacrifice as payment in full for our sins. When we believe this and receive Christ as our Savior God forgives us. He will heal the disease with all its symptoms.

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)

    Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill…

What puzzles me is how these entered Dominica and since when?
Then when they entered Dominica, what was asked of them and what did they inform the immigration officer, as to the nature/purpose of their visit and their intended stay.

As I thought and stated, they are dangerous people. However, they are more dangerous than I thought. They must be held in custody; no bail for them.
The DPP and the Court will have to decide if they should be extradited prior to their case being heard in Dominica.
Or should they be tried in Dominica for this crime, sentenced to prison, spend the time in jail and then extradited. I am assuming this would take some years.
Authorities hurry up and make your decision. St. Martin wants them for suspected murder since 2014. I would think as soon as possible.
I expect you are discussing this issue with St. Martin authorities. You should know if these men are extradited, St. Martin authorities should travel to Dominica to get them. The airline flight should be a direct flight to St. Martin.

  8. May 31, 2016

Please,If they found guilty give them harsh penalties these folks are dangerous for the society,If St.Maarten has its punishment tuffer extradite them to St.Maarten,Or after they serve their time in prison in Dominica extradite these bad folks to St.Maarten.

These guys seems to be notorious criminals :?: What a life these young men chose to live!

    • I agree with you. It is sad beyond words.

But in the shadows stands the one with nail prints in His hands offering them a new beginning with a life that is so full it overflows.

On the cross He suffered for their sins and paid the debt to set them free. Get your Bible and read Romans 5:6-9. He did it for you may friend! Now all you have to do is believe and accept it.

“…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,…” (Acts 16:31)

Jesus said “I am the door: by me if any man enter in he shall be saved. … … I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:9,10)

“Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, …” (2 Corinthians 5:17,18)

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist. (One who tells good news.)

Did they ever find those watches? If they did , and they were found to be the ones that really commit the crime, every time the watches make tick weep on their backs. When one person get tired another one take over.

Depart them to st Martin to do their time, then if they get out get them to be deported back to Dominica to do their time

    • just saying
      June 1, 2016

why?they are from st martin. they allegedly committed a crime here. st martin police did not capture them. CDPF captured them. why send them back to do st martin time?they are already here. if found guilty, let them do their time here then and only then should they be handed back to the law enforcement in their country.

    • It seems reasonable that they should do the time in Dominica first for the crime committed in Dominica.

I say this because (1) because the St. Martin police had their chance. They not only didn’t arrest them. They let them exist the country and go to Dominica. This at a time when all points of exit from St. Martin should have been under police security and watching for them. (2) If they go to St. Martin first to face justice you have no guarantee you will get them back.

Great work on the part of the Dominica Police. This is heavy policing at its best!

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.

You jump out from the frying pan and you fell into the harsh fire. Make an example of them all. People need to learn to respect people property. Work for what you want and don’t jealous people things because you don’t knw what they did for their things. You don’t know the struggles they had to get what they have. You don’t knw the sacrifes that they made in order toto archeive what they now have today.

To blame criminal activity on a political party/situation is so backward. I do not care what the situation is ..a thief is a thief…a murderer is a murderer….a liar is a liar….no one can make you engage in criminal behavior…..the young people today just want it all without working for it and they will get it by any means possible…so get off the ignorance!

Laborites are quite right when they say that their country has developed significantly since the black sacred year of 2000. It’s very very true. Just look at how much these criminals graduated from being novice into developing to full blown professional Hollywood style thieves. Other areas that has undergone severe development is poverty. There is a well-structured poverty plan in place. Over the years poverty have evolved, developed, and gone from strength to strength under this garbage labor party. The nation is being deliberately kept poor by their supreme leader so that when it’s voting time they could sell their souls to him and he could buy them on the cheap with one sheet of plywood and a bag of manure. Now during the 5 year interval the entire country is left poor leading these criminals to utilize their skillful art of stealing. And that is where the doctor from Punjab has left us after almost 20 years in office.

They have no plans to stop their criminal life..look at them a bit ,strong healthy lazy bastards, with one goal ,crime to survive ,normally stealing with a gun should be punished as severe as murder crimes..because one way or the other if criminal have no plan to kill or injure they will not use any weapons to still ,if they get any resistance they will use their gun on good honest people that are working hard to supply their needs ..they should be punished severely in order to send a message to others who wants to become criminals, make them work for their own food, only by severe punishment we can curb crime..after serving their complete sentence ,send them to St.Martin in order to be punished for the murder crime also ,if they get away with it is to start again which does not help the society,,Dominica is not in need of murderers, rapists, thieves that steal materials ,the law needs changing in order to apply serious sentences to criminals,,make Dominica a safer place to live .

Some 45 Rolex watches, valued at over $1.8-million, were allegedly stolen in the heist.

People need to understand that no matter where they run to, in an attempt to hide their crime, one day their sin will find them out. I hope they don’t get a chance to run away here.

Concerning those rolex watches, 45 of them had a value of $1.8 million dollars? You mean each of them worth more than a $200,000 dollar car? Them are expensive boy. Did the owners expext to sell these watches in Dominica? Who in Dominica has this kind of money to spend on a watch? Well let me take that back because there is indeed a special privileged group that just has to sell two passports, and BINGO! Money cometh to them via Air Panama, while the majority of us can’t eat a sweetie from our real estate.

Actually Dominicans do buy them, but Jewelers has a confidentiality clause. Meaning that they can’t disclose Dominicans who have bought a Rolex watch.

Don’t fool yourself there are Dominicans with tens of millions living right here under your nose, because you don’t know who they are or can’t imagine PEOPLE having such wealth here, doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Reality check they do exist and they live right here as local Dominicans.

Stop fooling Dominican with those non sens.
Then just because is Fort young, they arrest 6 persons and charged 3 of them. What happened to the other 3 ? Their pictures and names already out. When is a rapist, they dont mention no name.
Now what happened if is a private person who get rob ? the police forget the case right away, leaving the victims with no justice. I went court with a witness who see the thief take something at my home, the magistrat said, not enough evidence… the thief leave the court free
Next time I ll make my own justice, to much fustration :(
