I grew up in loubiere and what is happening in spite of changing times is so beyond me .What happen to Aba La Falaise on Sundays ?what happen to going to Agar to get grapefruits? what happen to going on the playing filed and play football and rounders ? why can’t the same people who are parents now tell their children about the fun times we had ? no fighting at all . This new generation has lost their way and I blame the parents first. It’s definitely their parents fault.

The criminal justice system is responsible for the increase in criminal activities taking place in this country and the region. We will only see a reduction in this activities when the punishment is harder than the crime commented. When these guys are caught they need to be removed from the streets for a very very long time. They need to make an example of these guys.

Pato you are a fool. Maybe the reason why you cant come back home is because you wont get paid vacation, or you may not be able to go back to where you are now or you owe some people money. Dominica is still 100 times safer than where you are right now. We can still let our children play in the streets with our backs turned.

Tragic that the incident turned out this way but we are still a peaceful people.

Interesting to know where you live…….is it the US where people have the right to bear arms……..where thus far in Chicago alone over 57 murders for July………..I totally agree we have too much crime now and way too many guns and lack of good policing and lame judicial system……..but don’t say not coming home due to guns when there are guns and violence of some sort everywhere.

Where you live presently has no crimes? Hmm? You are really serious with that statement. Weh. weh, weh…… If there was no media, you would fool us here in Dominica eh. You are so used to your world you are trying to pretend that where you are living is flawless. The bigger countries making guns, and some of our youth are getting them, and this is the result. Crimes occur everywhere, and we are not as dumb as you think, we hear the things that happen overseas. So many killing, raping, human trafficking, kidnapping, torture, robbery, gang war, arson, tons of heinous crimes happen that you conveniently blocked out, you picking on our Dominica. Wheel and come again eh.

I pray for peace for all Dominicans, I cover my beautiful isle Dominica with the Precious Blood of Jesus, and I pray that The Almighty Yahweh showers us all with His spiritual rain. I pray for the youth, that love and peace would flow in their hearts, and they be filled with a spirit of calm, in Yeshua…

My village of Loubiere. That tranquil, almost lifeless community south of Roseau hardly made it to national news except when we hosted one of the best and most popular annual fairs. Yes we loved it. Many people flocked from neighbouring communities to enjoy Loubiere What we have today is a fast pace demonstration of what unplanned and unchecked development can do to a society. It also demonstrates what happened when the police is viewed as the villain. This is what happened when parents fail to take responsibility for the proper up-bringing of their child. This is what happened when fathers have reduced themselves to sperm donors and allow their children to join them on the block to “chill out”. This is what happens when we have most of the households from where this youngsters emerge are headed by an unskilled mother who know of few options to feed the children of estranged fathers. This is what happens when “angels” simply pass by and have nothing good to say about these…

Amen to that. I remember the good old days of playing cricket and football all day on the Savannah, eating mangoes, and going fishing. Now all these kids want to do is beat on their chest and who each other who is the baddest, nothing good comes out of that.

May God send His angels to minister to the youth, and guide them in the right direction, in Jesus name. Amen

Keep politics out of this. Our youth are so angry, because many adults who should be showing them the right way to go are SO NEGATIVE. Governments come and go, and some youth go astray. Stop blaming, start helping them to do what is right without criticizing them or anybody else.

.Sin came into the world through one man, and death came through sin. So death spread to everyone, because everyone sinned We have a choice to do good or bad. Some of us have planted so many bad seeds in this world, and we keep blaming everybody else but ourselves. It takes a community to raise a child. Sop blaming, and start helping those who the fallen ones, because they become friends with our children, and guess who has the strongest influence on our children. Hmm?

Smh..I find Loubiere in the news too munch lately and not in a good way. We need to clamp down on this rising crime in the community. Loubiere has always been one of the most quiet and peaceful neighborhoods. Cannot rely solely on the police. They cannot do their jobs without help from the community. So all those who playing soutiweh for their children, knowing full well what they do need to stop because you will regret it. Let these criminals know that you in the community will not stand for crime and violence. Take back your community! This goes for all our communities. There is so much law enforcement can do papamet.

What is the nature of Satan
The names of a person frequently reveal the nature, activity and mission of a person. Satan is known by almost 30 different names in Scripture, some of which are:

      The adversary (1 Pet. 5:8, 9)
The god of this world (2 Cor. 4:4)
The prince of the power of the air (Eph. 2:1-3)
The accuser of the brethren (Rev. 12:10; Job 1:6-12)
      The enemy (Matt. 13:39)
      The tempter (Matt. 4:3)
The roaring lion (1 Pet. 5:8-10)
The father of lies (John 8:44)
      The deceiver (Rev. 12:9)
      The murderer (John 8:44)
He uses these weapons against mankind like; deception, which leads to distraction, to delays, to disappointment, to discouragement, to depression to debt!
Jesus says i came that they may have life and have it more abundantly! Who ever the son has set free is free indeed! Salvation is a free gift to anyone who wants it!
Ill just let you look around you and think for yourselves.
      Praise the name of Jesus!

Why do we always blame somebody for our children’s misbehavior. Get to the root of the problem. Many parents bring children up, and they give them everything they want, but they leave DISCIPLINE packed in a corner. Some are one night stands, and they children never know their fathers, and when they do hear a man’s voice is a temporary step father. Not much correction or love given here.

They misbehave at school they are sent to the principal’s office everyday, they are suspended, then some get expelled. They were never properly punished or disciplined.. The school could have done some sort of program with them with the assistance of their parents. Instead of the classrooms, let them work with their hands and include some community service for them. It would not hurt them, it would give them a sense of responsibility, while at the same time giving them some attention which is what most of them need.
Instead of suspension, let them scrub the classes and clean the…

Well this is really unfortunate, and I will continue to say, much to the chagrin of those DLP acolytes and slaves, that Dominica is the most badly broken, badly governed country of the Caribbean or maybe the Commonwealth. This “Block” around rhe Loubiere area, has a lot of unemployed young men. What did our PM do? He just went and gave them 3boats, in his typically unstructured, dunce, uncaring, visionless manner, and that is it. Best he had given the money to honourable Joshua Francis for him to attempt to lure the young men’s attitude in a positive direction.
I have said ad nauseam, that handing out money to people only plunge them into DEEPER POVERTY, and we are seeing it. Joshua is 2 000 000 times more visionary than Skerrit, use the man, he is the Parliamentary Representative. After 17 years, Donminica is more backward than when the colony of idiots came into office.

So are you saying a bottle on the head is not violence. The only thing that changed is the tools. The evolution of man involves a path from ape to man. It also shows man brains developed to use tools. The intelligence of animals is measured on the ability to identify itself in a mirror, the ability to use tools and create new ones to solve moderate to complex problems and the ability to show a range of emotions. The behavior some of us currently display as a country and a race it seems like somewhere along the evolutionary trail we are stuck in the jungles running with the apes. Jungle justice and sitting around waiting to be fed. The apes only went from bottles to guns. A new tool introduced to the primate. Look at crime in the Caribbean, Africa and America. Blackman like to shoot and destroy each other.
