How about charging that guy who battered and killed the Wesley woman who lived in Stock Farm or Tarrish Pit?! That one happened before, no word, like the case already gone to cold case file.

I hope they find him. Did he migrate to another country?
God knows him and where he is. He can run but he cannot hide from God. Who knows what his end will be like?
His name should be given to every law enforcement authority in the world especially the Caribbean/West Indies, Canada, US and Europe, the latter especially Great Britain. His name should be on the Internet.
Our Lord said, He will find everyone. They will not be able to hide. He will give them their just recompense as they deseerve. Patience and time. God is patient.

Poor woman – RIP. What happened to that case? He too will get his waterloo someday. Some people can trick the Law and the Court but they cannot trick God.

Sorry that he died in this manner. May his soul rest in peace.
If only this did not occur, her husband could have been alive. It looks like he could have lived much older. His life was shortened by this incident.
Sad that she is charged with manslaughter but this is the Law.
    Justice must prevail.

You are discriminating. This is age discrimination. How long did she know him? Some older men marry women younger even at 20 years. He may be a virile man especially if he was not sick. You never know. The question is what happened between them that caused his death?

She is alive to at least tell her side of the story. She was not charged with manslaughter without reason. The Court will determine her fate,

Wesley person, that’s a great story that should be on another post.. This post is not such a nice story, most likely years of abuse and death ending. If you read it understand it. When it’s your story I will try and understand oui.

Wesley person; there is some good news in the news which you did not see, or could not detect. Whereas the police charged here with manslaughter, is an indication she did not actually murder him; that is good news. Manslaughter is actually the unlawful killing of a human without express, or implied malice.

That to me, means his death is incidental, nothing more than an accident, a charge of manslaughter could be broken down to a high misdemeanor, or a simple misdemeanor. A brilliant attorney can get the charges even dropped, since there is no indication of murder. I will not elaborate, and suggest how, because with the kind of luck I have I know they will say I am playing lawyer too!

And to the one who claim that they are not reading me though we are far away relatives, to you I say if you are ashamed of me then you are nothing to me. And if you entertain any thing negative about me, and about the things that say when I comment, its because you may lack the capacity to comprehend my discourse, there I am more than compelled to be more ashamed of you than you are of me!

I have relatives who I am aware has done some bad things , stealing among other things:

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

Nevertheless, I still appreciate them as my relatives, and will for as long as I am alive.

To each his own anyway, in any event far away relative; though I do not know who you are, let it be noted no love lost, if you ever need me for any reason, do not hesitate to contact me.

Telemaque, you could be funny. You made me laugh.
It appears that his death was not pre-meditated and apparently she did not intend to murder him. She may have hit him or pushed him. He died from a womb, from falling and probably not immediately. This is why it is considered manslaughter.

In addition, the wife could be charged for manslaughter because she did not try to avoid the death of the husband; she delayed in calling the ambulance; she refused, by ommission to do something to help. She is a close relative; so a duty was owed to prevent the death if she was present.

Yet another domestic dispute. Why is the woman being charged with manslaughter? It may well be an ‘accidental’death. What if she’s a victim of domestic violence? I’m really sorry that the man has lost his life however I do hope this poor woman does not become a double victim.

    • Wesley woman
      May 21, 2014

Why do you assume she was a victim of domestic violence is it because she is a woman.? Men also suffer from domestic violence but don’t report them. What young woman would go for someone 30 years her senior unless she was after his money because he was from England .it might have not been intentional to murder him but she has taken part in his death . Feel sorry for the man’s family who has too come and bury him. She meant to harm him don’t make her out to be a victim

Jealousy in itself should be a crime. Since you were there and knows what happened you should have tried to save him.

      • Cyrique
        May 23, 2014

None of us know what happened. You’re assuming that because he was her senior that she was after his money. Young women tend to fall in love with older men because it tends to make them feel secure. He could also have been spell bound by this young woman. We all know that older men can be very jealous when they have a younger woman. I’m very sorry that the man has lost his life and I extend my deepest condolences to his family. I trust our Police and I feel certain that they will leave no stone unturned. By the way I’m fully aware of the lack of reporting of domestic violence by men wh are victims. Domestic violence is abhorrent and there must be a zero tolerance policy in place if there isn’t one already.

I would think it depends how he fell, the position he fell and on what he fell. The autopsy would reveal if he simply fell or was hit with an object which made him fall and caused his death. This is why she is charged with manslaughter.
She would have to confirm if she pushed him for he is not here to speak in his defense.

Would you have said the same had it been the woman who sustained injuries and died? Men can sometimes be the victims too. Just saying

Of course it is commendable that the police have acted so quickly but still it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth considering that the police have a confession from from someone admitting arson in order to eliminate mr. Emmanuel and his wife. But three years later that same police still have to bring a charge. Is there a law for the rich and another one for the poor, a law for the untouchables and a law for those that have no powerful connections?

Maybe i missed something, but if ‘he fell on the porch of his house and sustained an injury to the back of his head’, why was she charged? Again, maybe i missed something.

If you slip and fall it is an accident. If someone pushes you and you fall die from your injuries that is manslaughter. Will another death have to take place
