It would be interesting to know what happened between them that caused this domestic dispute which lead to his demise. Those who are close to them, who knew them well should know something about what transpired and lead to this.
Curiosity killed the cat. Satisfaction brought it back. I bet everyone especially DNO’s readers/users are curious to know.
Is this not why we access DNO to read the current events, those of us who are hooked on it? Nosy, eh?
All the same let us be compassionate. We must empathize with the woman. We do not know what transpired, as much as we would like to know. I hope she has, of all, family support to see her through this dilemma.

In spite of what may have happened that day I know the couple well They had their differences and issues but then so does every other couple. I think Annie needs help mental help. may the soul of Mr. Hypolite rest in peace and I hope Annie gets the help she needs. We all like to run our mouth unless the shoes are on our feet. I respect peoples opinion but seriously some who comment on DNO should really look twice at what they post

The system of our beloved Dominica is messed up in everyway, nothing would be better than to get some form of medical assistant for this lady rather than just depositing her back into the community and we all know that.
I really wish someone, somehow will consider that within the legal system and that she will receive much desperate needed help as soon as possible.

Is she physically sick or is suffering from a mental problem?

Iif she is suppose to be sick and a danger to her community she should be put away and treated where she can’t be a danger to them. Has she killed before because of her illness I presume not did she kill her other husband no because he had nothing to give her. She married him for his money couldn’t wait for him to die naturally so she killed him. Will she go back to her first husband? Wait and see it was a ploy

The man is 30 years her senior. I wonder if she did not pour oil or put a banana peel on the floor.

I know this farmer on Q95, he and his wife have about 11 children and they were married for over 53 years. As soon as his wife died he married a 50 something year old woman. I know he is about 85 years. Lets be real, what can he physically do for her, except give her money and property. She is also from Marigot. These women don’t care, and these older men just to stupid. Another man always have their eyes on these younger women who have these older men.

I am in my 50’s too, but I sure don’t want a man who is more than 10 years older than me. I know love is blind, but I also want someone to satisfy me physically. They securities of an older man is good, but in the night, I just going to watch him, and here him snore? No way, eventually, I will be tempted and will cheat. That is why the Bible say, once a man twice a child. Young is young and old is old. Jus listen to the new to what is happening with older men and younger women.

Young men and women who are married cheat, much less couples with a big age gap. I hope it was an accident and my sympathy to the family of the man that died.

Older men especially are looking for companionship, someone to care for them as cooking, washing and ironing. They find living alone after their wife passed on is lonely for them.
Women agree to this as the men are in love with them and they are in love with the man, we hope. Of course, amenities are involved for the younger women if they outlast the man. In most cases they do.
“Once a man, twice a child” does not pertain to cheating on one’s husband and sinning behind his back. Those words are your interpretation which is totally wrong.
The Bible does not send people to sin. Its teachings does not cause them to sin. The Bible is our directive, the Word of the Lord to assist us to live godly lives, if we hope to obtain eternal salvation.
Once a man: one is healthy and strong. Twice a child: A child has to obey. Someone has to help and lead that child.
When a man gets sick he becomes as a child. This pertains to women. You know when especially people age what they are like. This is the meaning of “Once a man, twice a child.” Or some adults who think and act as children.
I remember the words of a song by Barbara Streisand, “People – (Adults) Acting more like children than children.”

This man didn’t need a woman because he was a self reliant person who can do what a woman can he had good intent to help but Annie was just a leech who wanted what he had

Why did you have to single out this man. Leave the people alone and speak for yourself. The fact that you would cheat means that you are already pre-disposed to sin. Therefore, you should get married to someone within your age group. You have a lot of growing up to do, being 50+ because it is not always about sex. If you would commit adultery, then you are not committed to the principles of the Bible. You should get a divorce and then go your own way. As Jesus said” neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more.”

I was not there, and I hope it was an accident. But most of these old men want young woman, they don’t know there will be problems sooner or later. These older men they deserve some of the things they get from these younger women. From my experience, younger women don’t love older men, they only want them for financial support or a father figure. Especially when they are more than 10 years older.

And also, from my experience, younger women who have older men, always have another men or other men, and take what the sugar daddy or older men give them, and take it to the younger men. And God forbid the older man dies before the younger women and they have a house together, before the man is buried, the other man moves it.

I know there is love and age is just a number, but statically, 85% of the relationship is not love. Take heed old men, and sometime it is also the older women with a younger man. Look before you leap, and all that glitters is not gold.

You should know love has no boundary. This may not pertain to all women. At the same time not all women want older men who are of a certain age.
This could be said about women who have nothing. What about the woman who has everything or is well-off even with a job and marries an older man?
You must give them credit that they may have been in love.

Sorry, but I have never seen the shoe on that foot. Any woman who is well placed doees not look for an older man to marry. She either wants a man in her age group who has just as much to offer or she will settle for a younger man who she can show off to her friends. Women only go for old men as a last resort.
