The Cultural Division is assisting with the staging of a creative Fabric Design Workshop this weekend.
Chief Cultural Officer Raymond Lawrence said the workshop will be conducted by Barbados Textile Artist and Product Developer Timothy Prescott.
“He will be coming to Dominica to conduct the workshop on Saturday and it will focus on a small range of printing, painting and dying techniques that can be used by beginners and practicing designers. The idea is that all participants will be able to apply early what they learnt from the workshop,” he said.
Lawrence said registration is taking place at the Old Mill Cultural Center, the venue of the workshop.
Today is the deadline for registration.
