Team SANKOFA is the BEST!!!!!! Congrats Lytleen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nobody could not cross it!!!
Congrats to the winner. However I would like to point out to the organizers of the show that while I am pleased with what their doing I just think that the winner of the Princess Show should be more involved in various activities that goes on in Dominica. You normally don’t hear anything about the winners till next year when they are to give up their crown. Throughout the year Dominica normally has fun, clean family events where both the Miss Teen and Carnival Princess can go to…to represent young people. Just a thought.
Yes indeed I concur witn your spot on observation, as just like you, I and numerous other people have intimated the same.
And while we’re suggesting avenues to improve and elevate the carnival festivities, may I also echo to the Festival’s Commission that it’s long overdue for the calendar of events during carnival season to include, a “Mr Teen Dominica”, that should be merged with the current “Miss Teen Dominica”, to be re-named “Mr & Miss Teen Dominica”.
While I applaud activities that uplift/encourage our young ladies, it would seem to me that boys/young men are often pushed to the back cabinet and forgotten. Such inclusion to my mind, will only harness self-esteem, appreciation for the arts, cohesive working together skills, ambition to become an outstanding citizen, constantly choosing excellence over mediocrity.
Well deserved!! Her talent was exceptional, she carried her party dress and costume so splendidly….the show was well judged..
Congratulations young lady La Pointe take the crown. Go La Pointe Go Lapointe
Congratulations to Miss Julien. Your parent must be very proud. You are gorgeous and very talented!! Please remember to focus on your academic studies. It’s an investment in your future and the best insurance policy you can have. God bless you and God bless DOMINICA.
