Tourence Dorsette is Miss Marigot Ambassadorial 2013

Tourence Dorsette has captured the 2013 Miss Marigot Ambassadorial crown held on Monday.

The show was being hosted for the first time in the Marigot community.

Dorsette outperformed four other contestants and also took home prizes for Best Creative Wear, Best Talent, Best Evening Wear, and Best In Evening Wear. She also grabbed the Viewer’s Choice Award, a component of the pageant where votes were cast by the public based on the photo set of the contestants.

1st runner-up position went to Patrice Dorsette, second runner-up position to Vashti Browne while third runner-up position went to Wilann Davis.

    Miss Dominica Pageant
    Please allow me to share my thoughts on the carnival pageants.i have been looking at the miss universe pageant and in the question and answer round they don’t ask the girls those type difficult questions. those who are preparing the questions need to do better than that.not even at the Caribbean pageants these types of foolish questions asked.we need to go back to the times all contestants use the same swimsuit and we judge on the fit and body tone of contestants.The costumes didn’t dipic much local .well its all over and gone we need to work with our new Miss Dominica as she prepares for the regional pageants and she fits for the Miss Universe also if we put our selfs together Dominica can have there second contestant .we had the first contestant in 1985 when Margret Rose cools Latigue was Miss Dominica .Miss Armour you have my support will do my best to ensure that you enjoy your reign.
